AVAS POV
when i came out all of them looked at me but paytons eyes were glued on me. i walked up to him and he led me into the ring and we did stretches. i did the stretches by myself with the girls and they were sorta doing splits.
i used to be in gymnastics and had to quite because of a leg injury but i was better now. i called the girls and they looked at me and i did a split like it was nothing. they looked at me in amazement and clapped.
"how on earth do you do that?!" brooke said n shock
"i used to be a gymnast but had to quit do to a leg injury" i said with a small smile
"i'm sorry" aurora said rubbing my back
"that must've sucked" sadie joined
"it's fine i can still do anything now that i'm better" i said trying to lighten the mood
"i can show you some stuff if ya want" i asked
"yes!" they all said
"nooo" payton said
"you need to train angel" he said holding up black boxing gloves
i got off the floor and walked to him and he sat me on a bench and out my gloves on me.
"angel? is that my nickname now payt?" i said smiling big
he looked up at me and sighed and i was just waiting for my answer
"let's train. choose someone to fight" he said he said pointing to the girls who had their gloves on as well.
i never told anyone this but i used to box with my dad a lot and i would always beat him because i got tired of not beating him so i had to choose someone tuff.
"i choose... payton" i said looking at him
all the girls looked at me in shock then looked at payton
"i don't want to fight you angel, you'll get hurt" he said crossing his arms
"well see about that" i said smirking
he looked at me with furrowed eyebrows and got gloves on
"okay you asked for it" he said he got in front of me and held his arms up as well did i.
once the girls yelled fight i threw a punch at payton and he missed. i he tried to throw 2 punches at me and missed them. i punched him in the stomach 3 times.
then he tried punching me but i just knocked him off his feet. and i got on top of him and pinned him to the ground. he smirked and tried to get up but i applies more force and he stayed down.
"3..2..1.. AVA WINS!" the girls shouted and i smiled i tried to get up but payton pulled me back down. he wrapped his arms around my waist and looked me in the eyes.
"getting really close there mr. moormeier" i said smiling
"well you beat me up for five minutes so this is the least you could do for me ms. ross" he said
winking at me
i chuckled and got up and he did as well and the girls were just in shock. i laughed and mouthed 'talk later?' and they nodded. we then all ran 3 miles.
we started running and me and payton were racing each other and he ran faster in front of me. i was not having it. me being the track star i am, ran way faster. i ended up being the first on done while payton had to do one 1 and the girls had to do 2 more.
when payton was done he was way out of breath and i was laughing at him a little. he walked up to me and reached over me to get his water bottle and chugged it. i laughed a little and he heard me.
"stop laughing at me it's not my fault you're like the flash" he said with less heavy breath
"i'm sorry it's just i grew up with a mafia father so i had to do this kind of stuff with them.
"well it pays off... that's for damn sure" he said chuckling
i laughed and the girls finished i and said something just to piss them off
"about time girls" i said smirking
"be quiet ava" brooke said
"yea we aren't all non-human like you" sadie said
"yea turbo!" aurora said
"sorry guys but i've had to do this my whole life so i'm used to it" i said
"ok guys get your water bottles and let's head back home" payton said and the girls sprinted to the car
i chuckled and me and payton ran to the car as well. i won obviously. when we got into the car payton was driving cause i didn't feel like it. i gave him my keys and we went off.
during the ride i was looking out my window when i felt someone hand in mine. i looked to see paytons hand intertwined with mine. i squeezed his hand and he looked at me. i smiled at him and he chuckled and looked at the road.
