Author note:
Sooo this is kind of an in-between chapter. Not much happens here, but the next chapter a lot of things will be happening.
My note: I have to wait until the original author uploads the next part so it would be a bit of a wait. I hope you like the story. Don't forget to comment and vote.

It was a normal Monday evening when Lucius felt it.
The dark mark on his arm burned and he knew that the times of peace were coming to an end. He looked at his wife and she knew the look on his face. She nodded once and he left the dining table.
When he apparated to the pull he felt he ended up at an old, run-down mansions that might have been beautiful a long time ago. He carefully stepped through the wards and made his way up the stairs toward what had to be the master bedroom.
He dropped to his knees when he reached the single chair in the room. "My Lord." He quietly murmured.
"Lucius." Came a quiet hiss from the chair. "Rise."
He stood up and ignored the impulse to speak in return. It had been a long while since he had to do that since he was usually the most influential person in the room. However, in the presence of the dark lord, he felt small and driven into a corner.
"It has come to my attention, that you have something of value to give me." The raspy hiss washed over Lucius like a tide and he fought down a shiver.
He remained quiet.
"You can deliver the Potter girl to me."
"Yes, my lord."
"Your son is courting the girl, is he not?"
"Yes, my lord."
He stayed quiet for a while and Lucius fought the urge to break the silence. Merlin knows that's a simple way to get cursed.
"Should you... deliver... this girl's trust to me... I might overlook some of your previous mistakes..."
"Thank you, my lord."
"But if you do not... your son will no longer be of use to me."
"I will not disappoint, my lord."
Lucius could only hope that he wouldn't. If this failed, he wouldn't have a son anymore.

Neville entered the RoR to see Jay hadn't arrived yet. He snorted. Jay was spending more and more time with Draco, and it seemed she was still rather oblivious to the fact that she was head over heels for the boy.
He had already set up most of the many pieces of parchment on which the steps and possible outcomes to several side plans and goals were written. It wasn't until half an hour later that Jay entered the room. She looked slightly disheveled and had a bruise on her neck.
He couldn't help it and immediately started laughing. Leave it to Jay to discover boys at the start of a nation-wide crisis.
"I know. I know." She mumbled as her ears turned red and Neville kept laughing. "Oh shut up. Don't think that I haven't seen you giving that Lovegood girl the dreamy eyes, brother dear." She said teasingly.
That got him to stop laughing and now he turned red himself. He could deny it, but if Jay had picked up on it, chances were the entire school had noticed by now.
He cleared his voice and got started on the topics they said they left off at last time. It wasn't until the Order came up that they hit a ditch in their plans.
Being invited to the Order had been unexpected and unaccounted for the opportunity. "I think one of us should join." Neville hesitantly proposed.
"Why? It's not that valuable of a resistance."
