POV: [Y/N]

The street was emptier than I expected it to be. Usually when I'd look outside, there would at least be a couple infected roaming around. It was also quieter than I expected, there would be times in the middle of the night when I'd be awakened by the clang of metal out on the street. Regardless, it seemed lady luck was smiling down on this supply run, and it would be stupid to continue observing the difference in behavior.

I began running eastward towards Gangdong Daero, stopping at a 7/11 first. Before entering, I activated my plasma sword, knowing that activating it outside would be much safer than activating it within the seven eleven, where the sound could much more easily aggravate those possibly inside. The place itself seemed hastily looted, with shards of glass strewn all over, but there was always some chance that people missed something. It could even be that the infected themselves were the ones who looted, as I've observed them eating regular human food before.

Moving slowly inside I examined the 7/11's interior, spotting only three of the infected, two of which were hibernating, and one munching on a lunch box. The one eating was the closest and was the biggest threat, and I immediately went to dispatch him, slicing his head off with ease, the blood easily evaporating from the sword itself. I checked to make sure the other two were still asleep, and it seemed they were. On to looting.

It seemed that the infected within this 7/11 served as great deterrent for any possible survivors nearby who might've wanted to grab supplies, because there was still a decently abundant amount of supplies within the 7/11. To ensure the highest efficiency of space, I only grabbed all of the cans of Pringles that were left, about four of them, as well as the rest of the cup noodles, of which there were three. I also grabbed two bottles of beer, because who says I can't have fun during the apocalypse.

I finished packing the looted items, and trekked further east, eliminating any infected roaming the streets. After crossing the road across the massive patch of grass that separated my immediate neighborhood, the street widened to about four lanes, with the height of the buildings on the street also rising in height to accommodate the widening of said street. The street widening marked the last stretch of road before entering Gangdong District, where the road widens to about six lanes or more.

I decided to ignore looting the buildings on the widened four lane road due to the increased number of infected within the buildings themselves, and decided to save my energy for the main looting phase in Gangdong. It didn't take long before I reached the main intersection separating me from Olympic Park. Crossing this intersection proved difficult due to the number of infected, but I had a plan. I grabbed a rock about the size of my fist and threw it at a Kia SUV on the opposite direction of where I wanted to go, activating the car alarm. The infected were aggravated at the car alarm and began sprinting at full speed towards it. After dispatching any stragglers, I observed the infected for a few seconds, watching them kick the car in absolute rage, and noticing that some of them even carried rudimentary weaponry and were proceeding to hammer the car.

As much as I'd like to continue staring at the absurdity of what seemed like a grandmother in her sixties kick a Kia SUV in a fit of rage, I had more looting to do, this massive rucksack wasn't filling itself. I moved across the massive soccer field and then angling towards a shopping mall directly across from the goalpost of the soccer field. This cross wasn't as difficult as most of the areas infected was focusing on a Kia SUV that was surprisingly still blaring it's alarm. Thank god for Kia, I guess.

The mall itself was pretty easy to get into, as it was still open when all of this went down, so it's security barricades were still raised. Upon entering the mall, I checked the map of the mall, and went straight for the supermarket in the rear of the first floor. I decided to loot from the back to the front, ending my looting spree at the hardware store. It seemed that the virus heightened the infected's hearing abilities, and as the mall was relatively empty, allowing me to speedily dispatch any enemies. Going further into the mall, the lighting started getting dimmer, a consequence of the electricity running out. Because of that I activated my dual flashlights, which gave me a much better view of the supermarket entrance and it's pitch black insides.
