Chapter 1

Mew's POV

*Alarm ringing*

I just woke up from the sound of my alarm. I face towards it and turn it off. I saw the calendar and realised that today is the first day that I am going to work as a president at our company.

I jumped out of the bed and took a shower. Of course I don't want to be late. I remembered that my first agenda for today is going to have an interview for my new secretary. Hmmm, I hope my secretary would stay for me for a long time. I easily get annoyed and I really had a bad temper especially at work. I'm very serious and dedicated to it.

I opened my closet and took out the suit that was prepared for me today. I went downstairs and found out that mom and dad went to work already.

"Goodmorning sir" It's Wil, my personal bodyguard that my mom and dad assigned for me. I know it's too much but I can't argue with my parents. Anyway, I'm thankful for Wil because he has been with me since I moved back here with my parents after graduating from college.

Wil started the engine and we are already heading to my office. I noticed that the traffic was not that bad at all.

"Wil, are there any updates about the interview for my secretary today?" I told Wil while looking outside the window.

"To be exact sir, there were about 2,449 applicants. I recieved a message from the front desk a while ago that the line for the interview was so long, that it even reached the streets already." Wil told me that made me shocked a little bit.

"Hmmm, I see. Let's see who will be approved to be my secretary."

We reached the 64 floor building and surprisingly the line really reached the streets.

Wil parked the car and walked with me to my office.

"Goodmorning sir Mew!" the staffs and employees greeted me which I greeted them in return.

I arrived at my office and relax for a bit before the interview will start.

I went to the room beside my office.
"Wil, tell them that the interview will now start. I hope they're already ready."

Gulf's POV

"I'm not a king that just sits all day doing nothing mom. You know I want to do things." I told my mom while getting dressed.

"I told you to work at the bank with your dad. You're a business accountant graduate, why don't you come with us?" Mom told me while she is following me every move I made.

"Yeah but I don't enjoy it either." I stopped and looked at mom. "I saw the post about the Co Company's new President finding a new secretary. I want to apply mom and I'm sure you'll understand right?" With my puppy eyes and baby voice.

"Fine, but please be careful alright? Drive safely. I know you are a responsible child. I know you would get that position right? and don't worry, I'll tell your dad about it. I'm sure he will understand." Mom told me and hugged me.

"Thanks mom you are the best!" I hugged her back.

I'm done getting ready and went straight to my car to drive to Co Company's building. Today is the interview day and I'm already feeling scare-cited.

I was a business accountant graduate but now that I'm done with it, I find it actually boring honestly. My mom and dad wanted me to work at the bank but I can't enjoy that work. I want to experiment new things and try new opportunities like jobs.

"Woah, there were a lot of interviewers." I saw the line up to the street. Anyway, it's fine if don't get the job actually. I always have plan B in my mind.

I parked my car and waited the line. I'm kinda late so I was almost at the end of the line.

"Excuse me sir, you're next."

I was startled when a woman woke me up. I slept for almost an hour. It's kinda embarrassing but you know it's normal for me to feel sleepy.

"Thank you ma'am" I told her very nicely.

"What a handsome face to be a secretary and to be stressed. Are you okay with that?" The lady told me jokingly and I chuckled.

"Oh, thankyou. I guess I'm fine with that."
I knocked on the door and went inside.

The room was huge. The color black and white makes it even more flattering. There was a long table and there I saw the President of the Co Company. I never thought that he would be this young. I took a seat and greeted him.

"Goodmorning sir. I'm Gulf Kanawut and I'm pleased to meet you." I don't usually feel this but I'm kinda shy towards him.

"What do you have that the other applicants don't have?" He said looking straightly into my eyes. Those eyes that could melt you anytime.

"Uh—-uhm" I shuttered.

He stood up and walked into my direction and seated in front of me.

"Don't be scared."
