Chapter 18

Gulf's POV

Yesterday, Mew and I left with Mr. Bright there left standing.

Mew just pulled me and went straight to  his office. He obviously didn't like Mr. Bright.

Today is Friday, meaning I need to re-check again all the schedules inorder for me to update my boss.

*ringggg*

"Hello?"

"Goodmorning sweetheart, are you ready to go to work? I'll pick you up." Mew said on the other line.

"Yes, I'm already ready. Okay, I'll be waiting for you. Drive safely."

We are now at the parking lot inside the building and ready to work.

"I'll be going in first okay?" I said to Mew as I reached the door.

"Wait..."

Mew reached for Gulf's face and kissed his forehead.

"I love you so much Gulf, and I will never get tired of saying that to you everyday." Mew said to Gulf.

"Why don't you make me yours already so that you'll receive a reply to that too." I said and winked at him and started to walk out of his car.

How I wish I could see his reaction tho. He's cute when he is shy.

I entered the building and proceeded to walk to my desk to put down my things and start the day.

" Mr. Gulf? "

I heard someone calling my name and as I look at my back, I guess he is an intern.

"Yes, Mr.?"

"Ja, My name is Ja and I'm here to tell you that someone is looking for you and he is waiting in the meeting room."

"Who was it?" Who is looking for me early in the morning? And there is also no schedule of a meeting this morning. Weird.

"He said he do not want to tell you his name and just meet him up their."

So he is a boy. "I'll get going Mr. Gulf."

"Thank you, I"ll be there in 5 mins." I replied.

I walked past by Mew's office and saw him busy looking at some papers and I his laptop so I don't want to bother him and just head straightly in the meeting room.

I entered the room and saw a man's back.

" Good morning sir, you said you needed to see me?"

He turned around and I was completely shock again.

"Mr. Mr.. Bright?"

Mew's POV

As soon as I'm done with all the paperwork, I decided to call Saint.

"Someone missed me" Saint said on the other line.

Saint was one of the best friends I have since all of my friends are now working at other countries and Saint was the only one left here with his business of course.

"I need some help."

"Woah, I thought the one and only Mew doesn't need help anymore." Saint teased Mew.

There I said I needed some ideas because I'm going to ask Gulf to be my boyfriend. Yes you heard it right, and I can't wait.

When Gulf left me in the car this morning, I was so red and I couldn't stop thinking about him.

Is he waiting for me to ask him to be my boyfriend?

Is he ready?

He won't reject me right?

He loves me too and I always let him feel my love for him.

THAT'S IT. The plan is I'm going to ask Gulf for a date this weekend at the nearby beach. I think he mentioned before that he loves to watch the sunset at the beach. And the l rest of the plan for now is a secret.

Gulf's POV

"Do you know why am I here?" Bright approached me.

"No" I replied. I really don't know why he is here.

"Do still remember me? From years ago maybe?"

What!? What does he mean by remember him?

"What do you mean? Have we met before already?" I am now confused.

"Ouch." Bright held his hands in his heart like he was literally heartbroken.

"I have no time for jokes Mr. Bright."

"Yeah sure, okay Gulfie."

14 years ago........

Gulf was alone in the canteen. He was cutting classes. Why? Because he doesn't like Math. Don't get him wrong. It was his first time cutting classes in his Math class.

That's when he decided to leave school and have some fun at the park.

He was now standing waiting for the green light to walk. But then, a heavy raincame literally and he has no umbrella! He tried to wait for the light first but the rain and wind was so strong.

As he was about to turn around and run to seek some shelter, he bumped into a guy.

The guy saw him soaked in water by the rain.

He reached for Gulf's arm, he gently pulled him and put his arm around Gulf's shoulder for them to fit in the guy's umbrella.

Gulf was now so shy. He just met this stranger and now he is sharing his umbrella with him. He only saw this in movies.

"Don't be scared. I'm not gonna hurt you."

"Thank you, I'm Gulf."

"And I'm Bright."

The green light turned on and the both of them walked together. As soon as they reached some shelter, Bright decided to give his umbrella to Gulf.

"You can have my umbrella. I'm wearing a hoodie anyway."Bright handed his umbrella to Gulf.

"No, I'm fine."

"Here." Bright successfully gave his umbrella to Gulf.

"I'll see you another time, Gulfie."

And with that, Bright left leaving Gulf standing there looking at him until he can't see his back anymore.

Mew' s POV.

I left my office to find Gulf who is nowhere to be seen. I called his phone but he won't answer.

"Excuse me, have you seen Mr. Gulf?"

"Yes sir, I'm Ja by the way and I'm the new intern. Mr. Gulf was at the meeting room."

"But there Is no scheduled meeting this morning."

"Yes sir but there was a man who was looking for him to meet there."

As soon as I heard him, I went straight to the meeting room and barged in directly without knocking.

"Gulf!"
