Ari smirked as the headlights of his jeep illuminated the rocky hill. They had been tracking Max ever since she ran from them at Annie's. He let out a growl as the people the backseat bickered over something idiotic. Suddenly, there was a mass of black and white in front of them. A girl? She wore a black bombers jacket matched with a white v neck tee, black skinny jeans, and black converse. She stared at the on coming jeep as Ari slammed on his breaks. "What are you doing out here, little girl?! Shouldn't you be home!? It's late." The girl's hair was white with short curls but why was she wearing shades?  Ari sighed when the girl never budged, climbing out of the jeep. He made his way over to her and looked straight down at the mysterious girl. She was a shortie... "You should be home." He growled again, grabbing her by the arm.

She didn't say a work, only staring up at Ari's face. Made him uncomfortable. "Who are you?" She said coldly, yanking her arm away from him. Ari sighed yet again.

"I don't have time for you--"

"Yes you do, you bloody twit! I live in these parts and I won't have a big man in his small car run all over my bloody property!" She jabbed a finger at his chest, making him take a few steps back. "No I suggest you tell me who you are and what you're doing here before I put my foot up your bloody arse!"

Ari began shaking in anger, on the verge of transforming to an Eraser. No one besides Max had stood up to him like that and the fact that the one who scolded him wasn't Max infuriated him further. "Shut up!" He yelled. His shirt ripped as his transformation was completed. He expected to see shock on her face (or horror, horror would do) but the girl's face remained completely calm as she took a defensive stance. "You're not running..." He gave her a good look. She was a normal girl. She was normal. Why wasn't she afraid?

"Because I've waltzed with bigger dogs than you." She commented, taking off her shades and tucking it in her jacket pocket. Her eyes were a bright, sharp yellow that stood out in the darkness along with her white hair. She was pretty, not as pretty as Max, but pretty in her own way. Ari shook off the thoughts.

"Just let me pass. I don't want to be hurting anyone else." He reasoned. "All I want --"

A sudden gust of wind.

"Seb! Don't mess with that freak!"

It was Fang. he was high in the air, Iggy by his side, glaring at Ari's form.

"I was just going to dance with him." Seb replied sarcastically. Ari grinned at the girl.

"So, you wanna dance, little girl?" His eyes glinted.

"And I thought dogs hated to tango." Seb replied, a smirk on her face.
