XIII - Communication
The following day quickly approached, with all the X Factor business, and the crowning of the winner. Who knew judging was harder than it looked? Demi even had a few bets on who would win from her group; the young adults. Along with Nick being a guest judge in the Judges’ home arc of the X Factor, it was all good. Demi enjoyed the most of it, it’s the stress of a job that hurts like hell.
And what better way to release stress than telling it to your trusted bestie who snuck out on signing just to get the scoop on the secret relationship? Well, a lot of ways.
“Tell me! Tell me!”
“I’m busy right now!” Demi said chuckling.
“By the way, have you heard from Miley yet?”
“Hmm, a bit, she’s more busy than I am, and our publicist have this war going on”
“Mine too! I suddenly can’t even text Miley!” And they both started chuckling.
“Forbidden riendships!” Demi laughed. “But, she’s having some trouble on that marriage, ain’t she?”
“She takes her relationships too seriously at times, so it makes sense”
“How did you feel about her haircut?” Demi asked.
“Well, I can’t say I love it” Selena and Demi started laughing again. “Come on, Dems! I watched the opening of the finals or you! And boy! Simon Cowell was hilarious!”
“I know! He doesn’t even need a script!”
“That wasn’t scripted?”
“Most of them aren’t, but it’s an advantage that people think that sometimes”
Selena laughed again. “Back to the pont! When are you two going to make it official?”
“I dunno,” Demi shrugged. “Soon, maybe? It’s going to be hard to break it to Tyra and Ray, and the management….and the paparazzi” Demi finished.
“Well, think of it this way, if Niall was never famous, it would be a….one in a million chance for him to even meet you! And, people wouldn’t cheering you two on!”
“Some people think we suck as a couple” Demi scoffed.
“I have to agree with a few of them”
Demi raised an eyebrow at Selena.
“I mean, you two are so different in appearances, and the Lovatics whom think that you deserve better than Niall, I find that true as well”
Demi chuckled before lightly punching Selena on the arm. “What about the Directioners”
“Ah them! That’s another story, about girls thinking that Niall is theirs and he should be single for eternity!” Demi laughed loudly at this comment. “But hey, there a lot of Directioners and Lovatics that think you’d be adorable together!”
