I read the collar and immediately saw the address was mine. Blizzard, the Australian Shepard, a male, 6 months old. Holly, short for Halloween, black cat, 6 months old as well. They definitely were mine, and not some strangers... Wait! how did I know that Holly was short for Halloween? I must've gotten that last night!
My leg has lost some feeling right now, but it's just asleep. I get to take off my head bandage since its been a month since the Accident. I don't even know what happened yet, no one will tell me, not even the doctors...
Alex: hey
Me: hi
Alex: can I come over?
Me: sure!
And then I hear a knock on the door. I got my crutches an waddled over to the door and opened to see a balloon, flowers, and chocolate. Then a face popped out with a smile. "You know you didn't have to do this, Alex. I still don't know how I got into the hospital... Come in," I muttered waddling out of the way and to the kitchen.
I sat in a chair near the bar table and laid my crutches down on the ground. "I know, Dylan, I just needed to," his smile was perfect, his teeth were perfectly alined and I don't know why he still wears his braces. He leaned over and kissed my forehead... out of nowhere...
My face got hot and I looked up at him, I was still short in the chair, and plus, he's like six foot... I could tell my face was completely red... "Wha-what was that for?" I asked with a smile on my face.
"You looked like you needed it, and I was planing on kissing you on the lips, but I remembered that your my friend..," he muttered sitting down and bring the chocolate over.
My mind was racing as we talked, not bringing up the subject about the incident... We talked about swimming at my house once I don't have a broken leg anymore. I was happy he was here...
But what was this feeling..?
