Chp.9-Sweet home

A few minutes later Eunbo and I were standing in front of my house.Eunbo's jaw dropped to the ground the moment we arrived.

"You live here?" She asked completely shocked.

"Yup" I answer simply.

Once we pass through the gates and ascend the stairs I knock on the door waiting for someone to open up.When the door opens I am completely dumbstruck at the sight of my father at the door.

'He's almost never here... he doesn't even look shocked to see me'.

He steps aside silently and lets me in,I watch him as his eyes fell on Eunbo.He closes the door and walks towards the family room and I naturally follow.

Once we were there I see my mother sitting on the couch reading a novel.She looks up upon our entrance and places her book down onto the coffee table beside her.She then stands up and comes to stand next to my father.

Their intense gazes making me feel small.Eunbo notices my discomfort and entangles her fingers with mine to comfort me 'Such a sweet girl' I think to myself.

"Where have you been these past two weeks?"my mother's voice breaking the silence.

"It's a long story-"I started but was cut off by my father "Whose clothing are you using?Is it a boys?" I gulped already knowing what's going through their minds.

"Y-yes but-" I was cut off but this time by my mother's hand striking the side of my face,I heard Eunbo's shocked gasp and tears pricked the sweet girls eyes.I held back my tears stubbornly.

"You pathetic child! You ran off with some boy for two weeks! I can only imagine what you must of been doing,imagine if someone saw you?!"My mother shouted angrily.

"You know you are with Mr.Hong's son yet you still choose to act with such disregard! Who did I kill in a past life to have a daughter like you!"My father continued.

By this time Eunbo had tears streaming down she was most likely frightened by the yelling.

I couldn't care less about it though their words were just empty to me,I've learned to not be affected by them over the years.

"And who is this girl you brought with you?"my mother asked moving her piercing gaze over to Eunbo.Instinctively I moved a little in front of her protectively and I speak "Her name is Eunbo,she is an orphan and will be staying with us.I take full responsibility over her and will pay for her every need with my own allowance".

My parents eyes show distaste "You are responsible for her...when we are home we do not want to see the girl in our sight".I laugh bitterly "Not like you are ever home so that won't be a problem" that earned me another slap to the face my father delivering it this time.

They remain silent still glaring at me "Where are the staff?"I ask noticing the emptiness as soon as I stepped. They ignore my words and move to sit down on the couch.My mother she picked up her novel and continued reading.

Sensing it was the end of our lovely conversation I left. I led Eunbo upstairs to my room.I opened the door and walked in. Eunbo took a seat on my bed and I soon joined her,we sat in silence for a while.

"You can stay in my room till I get your room all set up for you"I turn to Eunbo and say she turns to look at me and wordlessly wraps her arms around my waist hugging me.I was taken back a little but wrapped my arms around her small figure returning the hug.

"Thank you"She whispers softly to me.I smile "No need to thank me,little one"I say.We hug a few minutes longer.I then show Eunbo the bathroom that's connected to my room and my spare closet where I keep clothes I no longer use or that are too small for me and told her to help herself.

While Eunbo was in the shower I pull out a cute pink unicorn onesie that I never got the chance to use and I place it on the bed for her along with other items.

I exit my room and head to the kitchen.I walk in and get two bottles of soda and some snacks for Eunbo and I.

I was about to leave but my mother's presence stopped me "Who's the boy?"she asks her facial expression remaining void of emotion "Maybe if you let me explain you would know by now"I snapped back.

"I'll find out and once I do you know what will happen"I glared at her retreating form and made my way back upstairs once she was out of my sight.

When I re-entered my room I saw Eunbo dressed in the onesie happily smiling to herself while brushing her long chestnut hair.I couldn't help the small smile creeping onto my face.

I placed the snacks on my bedside table along with the drinks "I'm just going to take a shower then we can watch some movies together okay?"I asked and she enthusiastically nodded liking the idea.

I went to my closet and pulled out a purple bunny onesie for myself then headed to take a much needed shower.When I returned dressed in my onesie I saw Eunbo snuggled comfortably under the covers holding my dolphin plushie.

I crawled in next to her and placed all the snacks between us,I turned on the television in front of my bed and went to my personal movie collection.

"Sorry,I have a lot of Disney movies and a lot of anime series on here"She giggled at my shyness "Who doesn't love Disney?I've only ever watched two movies though"she states "Which ones?"I ask.

"The first one I watched was Beauty and the Beast and the second was The Lion King back at Jungkooks house"she says.

"Those are two of my many favorites"I tell her while opening the packet of sour worm gummy's. "What movie is your favorite?"she asks and I answer without hesitation "Finding Nemo!".

She looks at me curiously "Can we watch that one then?" She asks "Of course!"I reply.I select the movie and press play.While the movie loads I open my bedside table draw and pull out my Polaroid camera.

"Let's take a picture together"She agrees I position the camera and snap three pictures in total.The first one I had a wink face and Eunbo had a cute pout with her cheeks puffed out.The second we made goofy faces.The third we both had sweet smiles on our faces.

'Definitely my favorite polaroids'.

We then proceeded to watch the movie.Eunbo really enjoyed it.No matter how many times I watch this movie I always cry when Nemo's mum dies and this time Eunbo cried with me.We then laughed at our silliness.The movie came to an end around 01:00am.

We decided it was about time we go to sleep.I switched the tv off and slid deeper under the covers,I turned my light off and closed my eyes.

Eunbo wrapped her small arms around me and placed her head on my shoulder I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and we both fell soundly asleep.

A thought came to mind whilst I was trying to fall asleep 'I need to text Jungkook... oh yeah I need to go buy a new phone tomorrow I'll text him then'.

With that I fall asleep and get some much needed rest.
