Chp.16-Confrontation

"Sierra!"

"What are you doing here?"

*Sierra POV*

I stood wide eyed looking at the person directly in front of me.

My boyfriend Joshua.

"Just came to visit my girlfriend is there a problem with that?" He asks with a sickly sweet tone of voice.

"No, it's just not a good time right-" I got cut off by him "Oh!I think it's the perfect time I get to meet your little boyfriend the one you were cheating on me with... wait till everyone finds out about this" He says menacingly and I feel my blood run ice cold at the thought.

As if things weren't bad enough I hear footsteps behind me and a voice. "Sierra?"

Jungkook.

Joshua speaks before I could "Oh you must be him" Jungkook looks at Joshua as he addresses him,Joshua then continues "the new kid at school? Really,Sierra you should of given him a week or so to adjust before you decide to play with him" a wide smile appearing on his face as he says that.

I wanted to say so much I wanted to scream and curse at him but why couldn't I. Why? didn't I respond to him.

"Joshua,I finally get to meet you in person you are quite famous in school"Jungkook starts "What are you doing here?" He asks Joshua.

"I came to see my girlfriend of cou-" Jungkook cuts him off "Only now! You argue with her yesterday and only come to see her the next day? No calls or even a text. No wonder she wants me instead of you "Jungkook finishes with a scoff.

Joshua and I look at him in complete shock "Jungkook what are you doing?"I whisper-yell at him but he ignores me and keeps his gaze on
Joshua.

Joshua's shocked expression soon turns into a glare but it's directed to me "Hm... so you already tell him personal things... just wait sweetheart I'll ruin y-" once again Jungkook cuts him off.

"No you won't,I can guarantee that,now if you don't mind we were just leaving and I think you should too"Jungkooks eyes were cold and hard a look I haven't seen on him before.

Surprisingly without another word Joshua leaves, once he was out of sight I turn to Jungkook but he starts walking back to the house not sparing me a glance.

I follow him "Jungkook" I say trying to get his attention but he ignores me completely.

"We're leaving!" He shouts as we enter the house again.I see Eunbo and Taehyung approach us so that we can go.

I give up and decide to talk to him later. He's obviously upset I didn't even mention about having a boyfriend in the first place.

Eunbo and I jump into my car while Jungkook and Taehyung get into Jungkooks car across the road.

I start the car but don't drive yet. "Where will we stay?" Eunbo asks I turn to see her concerned expression.

"I still have some money in my account I can book us a hotel for the week so we can figure things out" I say forcing a smile onto my face I then lean forward placing a soft kiss on her forehead before proceeding to drive out.

We drive back to Jungkooks house. We enter and Taehyung speaks up first upon entering the house "I think I'll head home now to prepare for school tomorrow" we nod and bid our goodbyes to him.

He hugs Eunbo and gives Jungkook a bro-hug "Bye Taehyung" I say he looks at me with empty eyes and walks out the door like as if he looked straight passed me. I feel a little deflated at that.

I turn to Jungkook "We're going to head out too.Thank you so much for everything Jungkook" I say trying to make my voice sound steady.

"No problem" he says calmly  but I can still hear a slight anger in his voice. When Eunbo and I exit the house Eunbo goes ahead to the car and I turn to Jungkook.

I stand a bit awkwardly at first fiddling with my fingers until I find the words to say "Call you later?...so that we can...talk?" I say cringing at myself.

His eyes soften slightly and he nods "Yeah...we'll talk later.Will you two be okay on your own?" He asks with concern lacing his voice I give him a small smile and nod.

He tells me to call him if anything happens and I agree we then bid our goodbyes and Eunbo and I drive off.

I play some music so that the car isn't filled with complete silence. I come to a street that's lined with many hotels.

I drive pass the high luxury ones I usually stay in and drive towards a more cheaper, but still decent hotel.

Once we're checked in Eunbo and I go up to our room. Once inside Eunbo throws herself on the bed and I join her.

I let out a sigh "I might have to get a part time job since the money won't last forever" I say and Eunbo turns to me "Won't it be difficult juggling school and a job?" I nod my head and sigh "Until I found my parents that's the only thing I can do" I let out a sigh before speaking again.

"I'm so used to having everything I never thought what would happen if I'm suddenly thrown into the world with nothing" another sigh leaves my lips.

"Don't your parents own companies or something?" She asks and I shrug my shoulders and I suddenly start getting a headache."I don't actually know what they do, it sounds strange but they just never shared it with me and I never asked I just like everyone else assume they ruin their own companies" I take a breathe afterwards.

I felt a little lighter after sharing that or maybe I felt lighter because I didn't feel the need to lie to her about it.

"It'll be okay"Eunbo says after a few moments of silence, I smile a little hearing her words since they calmed me down a little.

"I'll go tomorrow and pick up some clothes and necessaries items for us" I get up after that and tell her to go to sleep.

Her droopy eyes closed and soon she was out like a light. I covered her with the blanket and walked out onto the balcony attached to our room closing the balcony door behind me.

I pull out my phone and dial Jungkooks number, he picks up on the second ring.

"Hello?"

"Hi Jungkook"

"Are you guys okay? Where are you now?"

"We're okay we're staying at a hotel for the time being"

"You know... you could just stay over at my place"

"I don't want to be a burden to you or your family,Jungkook"

He doesn't push any further on the topic knowing I won't listen no matter what he says.

"About today..." I start.

"I'm sorry about what he said and just... everything...I'm sorry about not telling you about him and I just..."

I stopped there not knowing how to continue.

"It's okay... yes I was upset at first but it's okay I understand"

I sigh in relief.

"Thank you"

I hear him chuckle.

"There's no need to thank me,Sierra"

We continue having casual conversations with a few laughs here and there.

"I should probably head to bed"

"Yeah me too"

"I'll see you after school tomorrow"

"Okay...goodnight Sierra"

"Goodnight Jungkook"

With that I had to bed with a smile playing on my face.
