Chp.10-Knowing you

The next day Eunbo and I decided it would be best if we lay low for a day or two. We would only leave my room when it is absolutely necessary. My parents are still home which is a whole other ball game for me since I'm not used to it.

Even though we are going to lay low I have been fairly productive. I have enrolled Eunbo in a middle school nearby, she had been homeschooled by him all her life so she was really excited about starting.

'I also found out that she's 13 not 15'.

I made sure she only starts next week Monday and since today was already Thursday there was still much to prepare.

I decide to go back to school the following week after Eunbo starts.Lucky for me I had caught up with all written notes in a day!.

All that's left to do is updates on my notes and assignments of course.Eunbo was currently playing with the new iPhone 12 I got her while I was getting a new one for myself since I lost my old when...that happened.

Seeing Eunbo was occupied I walked over to my desk and picked up the piece of paper with a certain boys number written on it.I saved the number on my phone before proceeding to dial it.

Two rings later he picked up. "Hello?"I hear him say "Hey,it's Sierra"I hear a weird thud which sounded a lot like he dropped his phone I smiled and held back my laugh at the thought.

"Sierra!Hey,how are you?I've been worrying non stop when I didn't get your call last night"

"I'm sorry I made you worry,it completely slipped my mind up until now"I say feeling guilty having made him worried. "It's okay don't feel bad I'm just glad that you are safe"he says 'he's so sweet it's almost to unreal' I think to myself.

I walk over to my bed and lay on my back as he speaks again "What are you doing right now?"

"Not much just lazing around how about you?"I ask him but before he responds I interrupt "Oh hey I still have the clothes you loaned to me last night"I say.

He lets out a small laugh on the other end "I would say you can keep it but if I tell you to return it would be a good excuse to see you again" I blush lightly after he says that.

"Can I come over?"he says grabbing my attention again "Unfortunately not my parents are at home at the moment and-" he cuts me off by saying "How about we go out and do something,Eunbo can come too?".

I stay silent for a moment thinking over it "Sure I'd like that...see you in 15 minutes?"I say suddenly feeling a bit shy.He agrees and tells me to text him my address which I do then we say our goodbyes.

I inform Eunbo about the arrangement and she jumps up excitedly and proceeds to get ready as do I.

While I was picking out an outfit my thoughts began wander as always.

'Was it a good idea telling him where I live? He's kind and trustworthy yes but, very few people live in this area... once he finds out who I am and about... my family'

I shake my head ridding myself of those thoughts.

'Thank the heavens we don't attend the same school'

I think just as I finish apply my clear lipgloss on my lips.I dressed quite different my usual school outfits. I'm wearing black high waisted jeans with a tucked in black shirt,a leather jacket and belts to accessorize.I'm not worried about anyone seeing me since they're all at school.
