Walking into the school like a zombie, you mindlessly walk to your locker trying hold back your tears. Some students looking at you with sympathy, feeling bad after hearing what happened. Others giving you odd looks as you pass by them not knowing why you look so down and haven't heard yet.
You get to your locker and stand there, staring at the metal door as you begin to zone out. The voices in the hall start to become muffled and soon it goes completely silent. Your eyes sting as the tears begin build up, blurring your vision. The pain in your chest is unbearable and you feel like you can't breathe. You weren't ready to come back to school, but your brothers told you to try. They told you that your parents wouldn't want to see you crying and hurting for them. Although they were hurting themselves, they tried to be the strong ones for you. So you agreed to come back to school no matter how much you didn't want to.
You finally snap out of it when you feel a hand on your shoulder and someone calling your name. Quickly blinking your tears away, you turn to face the person. "Oh, hey Jungkook." Your voice cracks and his face contorts into a worried look as he sees yours. "Im sorry about your parents." You force a quick smile and it disappears within a second.
Jungkook has been your best friend since you were little. Like you, he comes from a powerful mafia family and you two grew up together. Your families were so close, you were pretty much family.
"I need to get to class." You quickly open your locker, grab your books and run off before Jungkook could say anything else. He watched as you disappeared into the crowd of students as he still stood by your locker. The bell rang and everyone started to hurry into class.
When Jungkook walked into the classroom, he seen you were already in the classroom. Usually you walk with him since you have class together, but you rushed off. He understands though. You probably want to be left alone. That's probably why you're not sitting in your normal seat and in the back of class with your head down.
The teacher had come in and started the lesson, but you weren't paying attention. All you could think about was your parents. About how they left so suddenly. How they were taken from you. You know what happened to them wasn't an accident and someone had planned to take them out. Even thought the car was in pieces, they were able to tell the brakes had been cut.
The pain in your chest worsens to the point where you can't take it anymore. You jolt up your from your seat and rush out of the classroom. You run down the hall way and stop after a certain point. You break out into a loud sob as you slide down the lockers. The tears wouldn't stop rolling down your face, your breathing was out of control and your body was shaking.
You brought your knees up and hid your face as you continued to cry. A few minuets go by and you feel arms suddenly pull you into a hug. You don't know who it is, but they pull you close to them and you tightly wrap your arms around the person as you cry into their chest. You didn't care who it was, you just needed to someone at the moment. Opening your eyes for split second, you recognize the red hoodie and realize it's Jungkook.
As Jungkook is holding you, you start to quiet down after a good ten minutes, and then it goes silent. He looks down and sees you've fallen asleep. It doesn't surprise him. When he first saw your this morning, you had dark circles under your eyes showing the lack of sleep you've had. He doesn't doubt if it you haven't slept since your parents death. You looked exhausted.
A teacher comes out and sadly sighs at the sight. "Why don't you go ahead and take her to the teachers lounge. There's a couch in there so she can rest." Jungkook smiles at the older woman and carefully picks you up in his arms. "Thank you Mrs. Lee."
