BadBoyHalo POV

Ever since I was a pup I loved to fly. So it was no surprise when I was given the role of patrolling the territory. I spread my large white wings and take to the air. I weave through the trees dodging the branches using loops and spins.

I am one of the few wolves with wings, so I am considered very special by most. I learned to fly all by myself, because currently there are no other wolves with wings in my pack. I quickly leaned to fly as quickly and efficiently as possible.

I scan the land for anything interesting. Usually on patrols there is nothing, but I still enjoy getting to fly around. I've memorized the most efficient path to take around the territory, which is fairly large.

I am patrolling earlier today, so I decide to take one of the longer routes. I circle around to the very edge of the territory and follow the borders. I fly to a special spot that I go to sometimes when I want to be alone, or if I want to be somewhere peaceful.

I land on a large tree overlooking a hidden lake. It is my favorite spot in the entire territory, and I don't think anyone else knows about it yet. The trees around it seem to form a border around the crystal clear water. There is a few flowers one one side of the lake. Some are white, and others are a beautiful shade of blue. I jump off the tree and land on the soft grass below.

I sit by the clear water and look at my reflection. I look at my dark fur and red markings. I look at my white wings that always slightly glow. There are weird things about me though. Instead of having colorful eyes I have empty, glowing white eyes. Blind wolves also have white eyes, but it's different. Their eyes are an abnormal milky white, but mine are pure white. I also have a strange white ring above my head. It floats above my ears, but when I try to touch it, my paw just goes through it.

I take a drink of water and lay down for a while before leaving the peaceful lake. I leave to continue patrolling. I will probably come back tomorrow.

Skeppy POV

I run through the forest in a state of pure panic.

Water. I need water.

I can feel myself getting thirstier by each step I take. I haven't seen any source of water in almost two days, and if I can't find any soon, I will dehydrate. I run as quick as I can in desperation but I feel like each step is taking me nowhere. Each step taking me farther from everything. I've been running for what feels like weeks now.

I should have just been grateful for what I had. Why didn't I just stay. Now I'm going to die alone in the forest because I can't find water. This is all my fault.

I deserve this.

I collapse on the floor from tiredness and dehydration, unable to continue. I feel like crying but I don't even have enough energy for that. I try to push myself forward but I'm too tired.

I just want to sleep.

I struggle to keep my focus on anything and I watch as the world fades to black.

BadBoyHalo POV

I see a bright shape at the corner of my eye as I'm flying along the trees. I quickly turn to investigate what it is.

As I approach I see a blue figure stumbling forward. Is that a wolf?

I land in a tree behind it in case it is aggressive. It looks like it's running away from something. Or looking for something? It takes a few more weak steps before falling to the ground with a whimpering sound.

I quickly land on the ground, still behind it.

"W-water." It says weakly before going limp.

"Oh my goodness! No!" I immediately start panicking. What can I do to help it? It's obviously not a danger.

The lake! I can bring it to the lake!

I find a way to position the smaller wolf onto my back and off of my wings so I can fly it to my lake.

I fly as quickly and steadily as possible, so I don't drop the wolf. I land next to the water and drop it down.

"Please wake up!" I say to the other. I shake the wolf gently so I don't hurt it. The wolf remained motionless in its position.

"What can I do?" I say to myself as I look around for anything.

I look at the unconscious wolf in front of me. Judging by the features, I assume he is a young male. He is an abnormal bright blue color with white highlights oh his ears, chest, and tail. His blue fur is close to the color of the flowers growing by the lake. He looks dangerously thin and his ribs are showing, as if he hasn't eaten in days now, and obviously hasn't drank anything. His paws look an unnatural red. How long has he been running?

He coughs and shifts slightly.

Is that blood?

Skeppy POV

My eyes flicker open and I'm met with the smell of plants, and flowers, and the scent of something I don't remember. And water! Somehow I'm not dead?

I ignore everything around me and stumble over to the water. I gratefully drink the water, the refreshing taste soothing my body and reawakening my senses. Now I can feel the stinging hunger in my side and remember I haven't eaten in a week. I can go longer without food than water, but that doesn't keep me from being hungry.

I look at my reflection in the clear water and see a wolf in terrible shape. I am incredibly thin and my fur is stained with dirt and.. blood? I don't remember ever bleeding. I look at my paws. They are stained a red color, probably blood from me running for so long. I stare at my horrifying reflection before tearing my eyes away to see where I am.

I'm at what seems to be a hidden lake surrounded by trees and grass. I haven't felt soft grass in a long time. Only dirt, thorns, rocks, and sticks. Near the water are some blue and white flowers that look really similar to my fur color.

I hear the sound of wings behind me. A bird? I've never seen one up close because they always avoid me. I hear the sound of it landing behind me.

I quickly turn around, preparing to attack whatever it was. My vision is somewhat blurry, probably from hunger or dehydration. Instead of a bird there is a dark something in front of me. It had white wings and eyes. It looks like it's holding something. It drops it in front of me. It's food?

I smell the scent of a deer, if I remember correctly. I run up to it and eat it as if it's the last meal I'll ever get. I don't remember the last time I had a real meal.

After I finish I look up to see what it was that gave me food.

Now, instead of a dark shape I see a wolf with wings. And that thing above it's head. Is that a halo?

"A-Are you an angel?" I ask.

- halo
