Addison walked out of the door. The bell went as students rushed to their classroom.
"Oops"
"Hey watch where you are going"
The girl standing with two other girls behind her looking at me furiously.
"Oh are you that new girl who just ended up in the principals office on first day" the girl behind said.
"What did you do? Steal the teachers planning books?" The other girl laughed.
"Hey get lost" a girl with glasses shouted.
"Or what"
"The principals office is right behind you. What if he hears?"
The girls ran away
"Hi ummm"
"I'm Natalie"
"I'm Addison"
"Don't go near those girls. The one you bumped into is called Poppy. She is the leader of the group. The girl who accused you of stealing teachers books is Shiela. She is pretty great at work I'm surprised people don't say she is a nerd."
"How much of that conversation did you hear"
"Sorry for eavesdropping I couldn't help it. Pretty much all of it. And the last girl is Hannah who is the principals daughter. She is spoilt."
"So she can get away with anything?"
"Not really"
"What's your next class"
"Maths"
"Same"
"I will take you"
"Thanks"
They arrived in class
"Girls you are 10 minutes late"
"Sorry Miss Rose."
"Don't let that happen again"
"Ok Miss Rose"
"Class,we have a new student. Addison please introduce yourself and tell us what school you used to go to"
She didn't know what school she went to.
"Addison, if you don't want to say it than say you were homeschooled" whispered Natalie.
"I was homeschooled by my aunt who was a teacher. I came here because my parents thought I need a better education"
"Ok thank you Addison"
The day flew by as it was time for lunch.
