The world is a big place, full of many powerful creatures. But the two most dominant creatures on the planet are vampires and humans, both powerful, both majestic. The humans fear the vampires more than anything out there. Both of the two species are in a constant power struggle, a battle, trying to prove who is superior. Just imagine being caught in the middle of that war, having no place to take for you are hated by both sides. That is where I am, for I am nor one, or the other.

----Prologue----
There was a large forest, lush and overgrown, hiding many secrets. A large tree and some plants covered a body that was laying motionless. The woman was laying on the wet, dark brown ground without moving a muscle, as if she was dead, which she might as well be. The image went closer and closer towards the figure, the closer it went, the more detail that could be noticed. The woman was clearly detailed, to the extent that anyone could notice that she wasn't a woman at all, she was a sixteen year old girl. Her dark brown hair was laying messy on the earth, loose and beautiful. The person's eyes were closed shut, making it seem as if she was fast asleep. Her lips were velvet red; a blood red line ran down from her closed mouth to her pale, white, almost snowy skin. Small silver fangs would escape her mouth, laying on her velvet colored bottom lip. Her grey-white skin seemed beautiful yet dirty, as if it had been in the ground for days.

"You can't change who you are," the girl suddenly sprung to life, her glowing red eyes opening wide.

She was me!
