Chapter 3

*(SHORT)CARDINAL SPECIAL*

Cancer POV

When Cancer was in school, everyone except Capricorn hated her. Even Aries and Libra, who were in her grade. She was known as a freak. It wasn't her fault she was born the wrong gender.

Cancer Crab was born a male. He had always loved hanging out with girls, dressing like a girl, and loved reading books made for girls. Throughout childhood, he made 1 friend, Capricorn Sea-Goat. The kids were known as freaks.

This all changed when they were in Senior year of high(secondary I think for people who don't use the term High School.) school. Capricorn started dating Cancer's enemy, Aries. Not to mention the fact that Cancer had the surgery that year, and asked for Capricorn to come, who had said yes. But, when Cancer went to see her mom, stepdad, stepbrother, and step cousin(her step aunt didn't come, since she was queen of the galaxy at the time.), she was disappointed to see Capricorn wasn't among the people surrounding her. Her mom, Moon, told her Capricorn went on a date with Aries.

Cancer tried to be understanding, but this had happened so many times. The usually happy Cancer turned into a moody, horrible person to be around. Now that Cancer didn't want to be with Capricorn, all Capricorn wanted to do was be with Cancer.

One day, Cancer was being moody, and Capricorn approached her.

"Hey Cancy-" Capricorn started

"Don't call me that." Cancer snapped.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Please tell me. You've been acting so distant recently. What's up?"

Cancer snapped. "YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S WRONG? YOU! ALL I ASKED WAS FOR YOU TO BE THERE. BUT NO! YOU WENT ON A DATE AND YOU WEREN'T THERE FOR ME! GO AWAY!"

Capricorn stared at the fuming Cancer in a slightly shocked look. Softly, Capricorn said, "I'm sorry, Cancer." The goat walked away.

Cancer felt horrible. She felt horrible for being so rude to her only friend, and with that, their friendship was over.

Now that Cancer and Capricorn are older, they want to be friends again. Capricorn tried to restart the friendship by asking if she wanted to prank Leo with her.

Cancer, holding hope for their friendship, agreed. But, Cancer felt so angry when she saw she had invited Gem, too.

Capricorn and the Gemini twins had never been friends. So the fact that the two of them had been invited made Cancer feel like Capricorn was trying to become friends with both of them.

So, at the party, Cancer left early to find Capricorn. She decided they needed to figure this love-hate relationship.

Capricorn POV

Capricorn was surprised to see that she wasn't the only sign in the Cardinal Wing. Cancer approached the mergoat and asked her a question.

"Can we have a talk?"

"What is there to talk about?" Capricorn asked.

"Well, I think we should be friends again, but I feel like we're at a pretty unredeemable place. So, where should we start?"

"Oh, uh..... How was the party?"

"Hmm. Wasn't there for long enough to know."

"Oh..."

"GUYS!" Leo came charging into the room.

"Leo! This is the CARDINAL base. What are you doing here?" Capricorn questioned.

"It's Aries... he's gone missing!"

Sry barely any of the signs were in it. But, it's a cliffhanger! I believe the games will start during chapter 5, but no farther then 6.
