I wrote 2616 words, no kidding. Strap on cause it's a longer chapter than the others. Honestly, I love writing date stories because they're all so cute, especially when the couple is Taekook. Just so that there is no confusion, Taehyung and Jimin are the same age and 2 years older than Jungkook.

Taehyung was sitting in the restaurant they had agreed to meet at last night. It was well known for its noodle dishes and the interiors were very soothing. He grabbed a corner table for them so that they could talk without any distractions from other people sitting nearby. The table also had a french window next to it, opening into a beautiful mini-lawn with a multitude of brightly colored flowers and vines filling every inch of space. It indeed was very relaxing to just stare out the window and watch the several little, vibrant butterflies settle onto the flowers of their choice and suck the nectar from it.

Jungkook had texted him, saying he was running a little late due to a personal issue but he would try to reach as soon as possible. While Taehyung waited for Jungkook to show up, he ordered himself a cup of tea and remembered the conversation from the previous night.

After he told Jin and Namjoon about his date, they seemed a little uneasy. They didn't want him to rush into a relationship again and in order to provide peace to their minds, he promised there was going to be no funny business on this date and he meant it. His last relationship had ruined him and he was going to be extremely wary of anything that was going to happen with Jungkook, or any other man for that matter. Now it was just a matter of explaining to his heart to calm the hell down and not try to beat itself out of his ribcage.

His tea came soon and he cupped both his hands around the steaming mug as he took a hesitant sip. It was getting cold in Seoul, or maybe it was just him that was hyper-sensitive to weather changes. He was someone who would take steaming hot showers during the hottest of summers. He had absolutely no capacity to withstand cold weathers and he dressed the part as well. Although winter hadn't officially begun in Korea, he still swathed himself in a red shirt and thick sweater over it. Joon even gave him his red beret that he knew Taehyung loved with all his heart as a good luck charm. He thought he looked pretty cute in his ensemble. Jin had even cooed when he saw Taehyung all ready and smushed his cheeks. Now if only Jungkook would show up, he had been waiting for almost half an hour.

As if the younger had read his mind, he appeared before Taehyung, apologies practically tattooed on his face. "Tae, I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry. I'm not usually like this, it's just that something really important came up and I couldn't avoid it. I'm so very sorry Tae," he said, stumbling over his own words as he rushed to get them out. He almost bowed down to the floor because of all the guilt he was feeling.

"Jungkook, it's fine, chill. It happens, I'm not mad," Tae said, trying not to smile at how cute the younger was being.

"I'm totally paying for this meal as compensation," the younger said, now smiling at Tae.
