3. Scouting for a new job

-Finally school is done! Keonhee stretches his arms after our PE class was over.

We all just smile brightly as we walk to the locker room.

-I'll take a shower, i sweated like hell. I say as we reach the locker room.

Dongju nods and we go to our lockers.

-You guys can go ahead, ill go look for the job afterwards. I continue and Seoho and Keonhee nod too.

They say their goodbyes and i go into the shower.

I turn the shower on.

-Where should i go?... Maybe ill go to the mall, since we have that in here.

-Im still guestioning why we have a mall here when this is not even a city. But at least there are clothes store in there, otherwise we would have to go to nearby city to get clothes.

I turn off the shower as im finished showering.

I dry myself and wrap the towel around my waist.

I walk out of the shower room and go to my locker.

I look at my arm and my bandage had gotten wet, so i just took it off.

I put my clothes on and put my towel to dry in a laundry rack, which we can use. The cleaning lady will put it back to my locker next morning when its dry.

I lock my locker, grab my bag and walk out of the school, towards the mall.

It was a nice sunny weather, even though the sun was already on its way down. The wind was blowing some cold air, which refreshed me.

-Now lets get a job shall we!

I walked happily to the mall and went into the first shop.

-Exuse me miss.

She turns around, greets me and asks me if i need any help.

-I was just wondering if i you were looking for new employees.

She smiles.
-Follow me, ill take you to the manager. She says and leads me to a room behind the cash register.

I walk in and see a middle aged woman sitting behind a desk.

-Hello, im Yeo Hwanwoong. I say and she stands up, walks to me and we shake hands.

-Nice to meet you Hwanwoong, whats your business here? She asks and leans on her table.

-I was wondering if you hire any more eployees.

-Well of course we do. She says happily.

I walked out of the mall happy, very happy.

She asked for my phone number, that she can contact me later and i went to other shops too and they said the same.

-Will i finally have a job and earn money? I hope so...

I take my phone out of my pocket and call Keonhee.

-Hey Hwanwoong

-Hey, where are you guys? Im done scouting.

-We are currently at Dongjus place.

-Okay, ill come there.

-Be careful, its already dark.

-Yea, see ya.

I end the call and start to walk towards Dongjus place.

I take my earphones out of my pocket and put music on.

I peacefully walk as the wind was blowing on my face. The sun was just about to fade away and the moon was already shining.

Suddenly i feel a hand grab my shoulder and i turn around taking one of my earphones off.

-Hey babe.

Of course it had to be him.

-What do you want? I ask trying not to ruin my mood by fighting with him.

-I want you babe. He says and grabs my hand smirking.

I pull my hand out of his grip and start to get angry.

-Havent you listened? I want nothing to do with you, so please leave me alone.
I turn around and start walking, pissed.

I rip my earphones off, since i had no fun listening to anything anymore.

I glance back and that jerk is following me.

-Wtf does he want?!

I reach a side road where there isnt any streetlights.

-I hate this road, but its the only way to get to Dongjus house. The other route would take 3km longer.

I look back and see that that creep dissappeared as i start to speedwalk into the dark road.

There were walls surrounding every house and the walls made this road.

It was so dark i could bearly see the wall i was walking next to. The moon didnt shine there, becouse the houses were so high and the road was very thin, only one car could fit there.

I continue deeper into the darkness as my vision got even smaller.

-Its not like i have the best eyes anyways, and i didnt take my glasses today so it makes my sight even less helpful...

I take my phone out and put my flashlight on.

-Much better. I say to myself and continue walking.

There were lot of alleys that were dead ends starting from this road and it somehow creeped me every time.

-Aagh! A cat runs past me making my heart skip few beats.

-Shit, i almost had a heart attack. I say as i calm myself down.

I turn my flashlight to where the cat ran and i see that its sitting there, like waiting for me.

I slowly walk to the cat and it starts walking further into the alley.

-Where are we going? I ask the cat as i follow it.

It just meowed to me walking further.

We were almost at the end of the alley when the cat went into a rather big box meowing.

-Whats there? I ask and squat to the box.

There were two kittens there and i think the cat was their mom.

-Oh, do you need food? I ask the cat and it meows to me.

I take my bag from my back and get some food i bought from the shopping centre.
