Clarity (Rarity Book 3)

Chapter 2:Reggie.

 "Lovely,wanna come meet Regina?"

I turn around in the lobby to face Belladonna with a look of determination on her face."Um..sure?" I say although it comes out more as a question.Belladonna squeals excitedly.

"Did you see how pretty she was? her hair was awesome! I wonder if she likes lemons.." by the time we reach Regina's room Lovely has already asked too many questions to count.

I cringe my teeth at the sight out of shock.She lies on a white cot with white covers pulled up to her chin and her large bulging stomach from pregnantcy shows even under the covers.

"Um..what are you guys doing here?" I turn to see Vincelot who stands with Viana both of them appearing as if I had just disturbed some sacred ritual.

"We came to meet her." whispers Belladonna with a frown.I mentally roll my eyes at her.

"Its fine,Vince.I'd love to meet them." squeaks out a little female voice.Me and Belladonna both gasp when we realize its Regina's.

Vincelot raises his eyebrows "Um..well..okay then.Regina this is Belladonna,and Lovely,the one I told you about." Regina smiles warmly at me...great,another person to take pity on me.

"I'm sorry that your half sister tried to kill you..that sucks." she breathes out.I laugh lightly "Its fine...are you having a boy or a girl?" she frowns and rubs her stomach.

"When I ran away from where they were holding all the expecting Birthmothers I kind of fell,so i'm not even sure my child is alive anymore." she sighs.

Belladonna lets out a sympathetic 'Aww.' while Viana walks over to Regina and shows her the clipboard she is holding.

"Your only 16,correct?" Regina nods."Well...since i'm older then you all except vince of course by 2 years why don't I give you some advice?" she asks using her cold-sarcastic tone.

"Abort it." the whole room goes silent except a hushed Gasp from Belladonna and the ticking of a wallclock...seriously,Viana?

"W-why? no." says Regina.Viana rolls her eyes "Hear me when I say this,your either going to be an epic mother or a sucky one.Keeping this child after you have suffered a fall is a danger to you and theres a

chance this baby may not be alive...but still,the fetus could cause you harm.Now,either you abort it or risk it's happiness,and your health..your choice."

Regina narrows her eyes at Viana and i'm stunned at this:She seems like such an innocent girl to do something so defiant."I'm keeping it,and if you don't like it go to hell."

Vincelot laughs and I nudge Belladonna in the ribs to keep her from doing the same.Viana sighs "Fine...and honey? I know a lousy mom when I see one and I can tell you are going to be no better then mine." she says abruptly leaving the room.

"Whats her deal?" me and Regina say in unison.Vincelot sighs "My sister...she hates how our mother didn't love us,but instead dropped us on Nannies,hit us,and expected us to obey,she's against pregnancy all together."

Regina touches her stomach."My mom sucked too...thats why i'm going to be an epic one,make up for the mother I never had."

Belladonna groans "This is getting depressing,lets go do something." she whines.I glare at her,she's my bestfriend and I love her but sometimes she's an idiot.I smile at Regina "It was nice to meet you." she nods "Likewise Lovely,and you can call me Reggie."

Belladonna tugs on my arm and pulls me out into the hallway.We hear angry yells coming from the dorm halls.Belladonna grins "Finally some excitment."

This should be interesting.
