I pulled back and Jiro smiled for a second before frowning. "Denki..." she muttered. I nodded. "We can't do this. We need to focus on our studies." She said, turning away from me.

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Jiro, I-" I started before she turned around and placed her finger on my lips like she was shushing me. "Denki don't finish your sentence. Just don't. Maybe when we're not in school anymore and we're done but I can't afford any distractions right now. I'm sorry but I'm going to have to politely ask you to leave" she finished looking down instead of at me.

I nodded. As I walked to the door I felt myself wishing more and more that we didn't have school. I walked out and looked at her before she closed the door. She looked perfect in her tank top and shorts, waving at me like she did with that sad smile that she forced on her face.

I smiled at her once more before closing the door. I dashed to my room and threw myself in the bed, groaning. "Friiiiiiiiiiiick~".

Next day, the dance.

I woke up late that morning at 9 am and I was super scared before realizing we had the day off cause of the dance. I threw myself out of bed and got up. I got my white button down shirt and black dress pants, throwing them on the couch.

I ran around my room, searching for the bow tie. "God dammit, where is that dumb bow tie?!" I shouted at myself. I found it underneath my bed in a place where I couldn't reach. "ARGGGGHHHH WHY AM I SO BIGG!!!!" I screeched. I heard a knocking on my door. I opened it to see Jiro. "Hey Denks? Is everything okay? I heard screaming" she asked.

"O-oh yeah I'm fine I just-" I stopped, realizing how skinny and short Jiro is. "Can you get my bow tie? It's under the bed." I said nervously. "Uhhh sure" she said with a shrug. She grabbed it with ease and I was amazed.

"Thanks! You're the best dude...dudette...?" I replied a little confused. She smiled at me. "No problem. See you later Denki!" She said going back to her room. I smiled but quickly shook my head.

"No no no pull yourself together Denki. She told you no. And no means no. No no no no no no no..." I continuously repeated to myself as I got ready.

At around 6 P.M I was ready and bored because I had half an hour to kill before I can go. I sat around in my room, reading The Giver by Lois Lowry until I heard a pounding on my door.

I opened it to see Bakugo wearing a tux with a red tie, Kirishima wearing a red button up shirt with a black tie, Sero was wearing a white tux with a black tie, Mina was wearing a hot pink dress with neon green gogo boots but our 6th pal wasn't there.

"You guys look awesome! But uh...where's Jiro?" I asked? Looking around. "Well your guys's room are like right next to each other we're gonna get her right now" Sero said laughing a little bit. "Go easy on him he's madly in love!" Mina exclaimed, fake fainting into Sero's arms. They all laughed and Mina seemed pleased with herself.

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever lets go get her" I said pushing past them with a small smirk on my face. I knocked on her door and saw her, kind of suprised she wasn't going in pants and a shirt.

She was wearing a beautiful hi-lo dark purple...almost burgundy...?...kind of dress. "You look awesome!" Mina said, giving her a big hug. Jiro blushed and pushed her away. "Shut up I look normal like I always do" she said, rolling her eyes and walking to the front of us.

We all made it in and we went our separate ways. Jiro and Mina went to the other girls, Bakugo and Kirishima went to spend some alone time. The only person I was left with was Sero.

"So how come you aren't with Mina...I dunno making out or something?" I asked, only half joking. "Nah man were not official or anything yet. Haven't even kissed." He said, digging his hands in his pockets. "Well tonight is a good time as ever." I said, nudging him with my elbow.

He nodded. "You're right! Ima man up tonight!" He said getting all hyped. "Yeah!" I cheered him on.

"I'm gonna grab her!"

"Yeah!"

"Ima kiss her!"

"Yeah!"

"I'm gonna make her my girlfriend!"

"Yeah! Now go get that girl!"

"Yeah!" Sero finished, all hyped up. He ran over to Mina. It looked like he said something like "hey can we talk?" And then they went to a corner. I chuckled and went to get punch.

I was drinking me punch when I saw Sero and Mina kissing in a corner. I fake gagged and looked away. Out of nowhere, the music stopped and a spot light shone somewhere I couldn't see it.

When I was able to see it clearly, I saw Momo and Mina (how'd she get there so fast???) pushing Jiro onto the stage. Mina took the mic and smiled. "Hey!!! If you don't know me, I'm Mina Ashido and I'm from class 1-A! My good friend over here, that cute little purple haired rock star!" She said this in a cute baby voice before turning back to the crowd. "Is an amazing singer so let's give her a hand!" Mina said and applause rose.

Momo created a ukulele out of nowhere and handed it to Jiro. Mina arranged the mic so it reached Jiro and they both walked off the stage. She looked petrified and no one was doing a pre-performance applause so I yelled "LETS GO JIRO!!!! WHOOOOOOO!!!!!!" I clapped and yelled and everyone joined in.

She smiled at me and I could see it even from this far.

She finished up her song and looked around before everyone started clapping. She smiled and bowed. She ran off the stage and I jogged over to her.

"That was awesome!" I yelled, giving her a high five. She smiled and laughed, looking super happy. A few kids from other classes were giving us looks because we get attention and I assumed they were just jealous of Jiro.

I just laughed and smiled and hugged her and we were all happy. While we were walking back to the dorms, packing up to go home for the summer, me and the rest of the bakusquad were walking together.

"How was your guys's nights?" Kiri asked.

"It was so awesome! Sero kissed me, Bakugo was nowhere to be found and Jiro sang and it was so incredibly awesome!!!!" Mina exclaimed.

We all laughed and continued walking. "So...what do you guys thing it's gonna be like when we're finally heroes?" Sero asked, looking down.

"Only time will tell" Jiro said with a smile. "I wouldn't sell you guys for the world. I hope we're all still friends" Kiri said.

He was perfectly right.

Hey guys! So I got a comment saying I should end the plot for them in high school and this is how I was gonna end it and it was kind of bland so next chapter, they'll be adults! I hope that doesn't bother any of you and as always, thanks for reading ❤️
