25 - Wizards in NYC

I don't own Percy Jackson or Harry Potter.

Harry's pov

     We land on a grassy hill by a tall tree. Annabeth and a man who is sitting in a wheelchair where a few feet away. They came over to us.

     "This Mr. Bunner. He is the principal of our school," Annabeth says.

     "And an old friend!" Dumbledore says. "How are you?"  He asks shaking his hand.

     "I've been better," Mr. Bunner says.

     "Alright," Annabeth says. "Let's go to Sally's house." She leads us to a van that has 'Delphi's strawberries' printed on the side. We all get in. I was hoping to get a spot by Annabeth, but she gets in the driver seat. I'm stuck in the back with Ron and Hermione. We drive for about an hour before we get to the apartment building we first met Mini V at.

     "Mr. Bunner, why don't you take a few of them in the elevator and I'll take the rest up the stairs?" Annabeth asks.

     "Sure," He says.

     So, Mr. Bunner, Mrs. Weasley, Ginny, and Lupin get in the elevator and the rest of us take the stairs. I make sure to walk next to Annabeth so, we can talk.

Hermione's pov

     As we walk up the stairs I notice Harry keeps trying to talk to Annabeth but, she is not having it.

      "So, do you like living in New York?" Harry asks.

     "Yep."

     "Have you always lived here?"

     "Nope."

     "Oh, where did you live before you moved here? "

     "Virginia."

     "Oh, that's a fun place to live." I can't help but roll my eyes at that. I have nothing against Virginia or the people who live there but, I know that Harry as no idea where Virginia is. Let alone if it's a fun place to live or not.

     "Not really."

     "Why not?"

     "I just didn't like it there."

     "Why did you move?"

    "I got invited to come to school here."

     Thankfully before Harry can ask anymore questions we get to the right floor. We go to wait for the elevator. I was a little worried Harry would ask more questions but, he stood close to the elevator while Annabeth stood as far back from it as she could without being far from the group. Luckily we only had to wait about a minute before the elevator shows up. Then we go to Sally's apartment.

     Annabeth knocks. Then a woman who I reorganized from when we came to get Percy opens the door.

     "Hi, Sally," Annabeth said.

     "Hi, dear," Sally says pulling Annabeth into a hug. Then she looks up and sees the rest of us. "Please, come in."

     She leads us into the living room. She gestures for us to sit down. We do then Annabeth starts to introduce all of us.

     "I know you've meet some of them but not all of them," she says. "This is Ginny, Molly Weasley, and Arthur Weasley. "

     Sally smiles, she has such a nice smile, it's so warm and happy. "It's nice to meet you there and to see you guys again."

     For the next few hours we just sit there talking and eating the best cookies I have ever had. Not much was happening until Annabeth's phone starts ringing. She looks down at it. "It's Thalia, I'm going to take this."

     She stands up and walks down the hall.

Harry's pov

     Annabeth has only been gone a minute where we heard a loud 'What?' from the room she was in. Mr. Bunner and Sally seem a little worried but, don't do anything. Annabeth comes out of the room saying, "We can be there in an hour. Keep them calm. Send the counselors to The Big House. Yeah. Yeah. Ok? Ok, great." She hangs up her phone and turns to us. "There's something going on at the school, I have to go take care of. We are going to drop you guys off at your hotel then you can go explore The City if you want. I will call you later. Let's go." No one moves for a good minute before Annabeth yells at us again to move.

Chiron's pov

      After we drop The Wizards off at their hotel I turn to Annabeth. "You want to tell me what's going on?" I say.

     She is quite for a minute like she is trying to figure out the best way to tell me the news.

     "Thalia called to let me know that a note was delivered to her," she finally says.

     "Oh, what did it say?"

     She is quite for another minute. "The Fates are coming to camp. They will be arriving at the campfire."
