Iona

I want to fucking die.
Anyways, how are you?
Ah, fuck, let's try this again.
Hi, I'm Iona Shaadowbend. I'm 16, done with life already, addicted to drinking coffee creamer, and not the greatest at school. Oh, yeah, one other important detail!
I can throw stars.
Well, okay, not like stars from the sky. Have you ever heard of that video game Undertale? That boss at the end, Asriel Dreemurr, the guy who throws stars? I can do that.
I fucking hate it.
What? Can you blame me? What would happen if my classmates found out? I'm not actually positive, but I know it would suck!
So, anyways, that's me.

I sat at home, on my bed, watching some videos on my phone after school, feeling the breeze from my open window.
"Iona!" My mom called. I sighed and got up.
"What."
"Don't get sassy with me, young lady!" What?
"I'm not sassy, mom, and what do you want?"
"Don't get an attitude with me, missy!" I sighed in aggravation and went into the kitchen, where she stood, tapping a foot on the tile floor.
"What, mom?" I stared at her and tried to see something about her that I resembled. Her skin was a pale grey, but that was it.
"Where did all the coffee creamer go?"
"You used it in your coffee?" I knew where it was.
"I didn't use that much." It was in my belly. Mmmm.
"Then I'm not sure where it went, mom." She shrugged and set her hand on the counter with the mail.
"By the way, this letter came for you." She handed me an envelope. I fiddled with my necklace as I sat down and opened the letter. Goddamn! Another college thingie! I tossed it into the burn pile and went back to my room without reading the whole letter.
"What was the letter about?" Mom asked.
"Some school." I rolled my wrist and entered my room.
Five guys in full black suits stood in my room, guns aimed at me.
"What the....?"
"Shh." One of them said. "Another word and we will have to open fire."
"Why are you even here?" They didn't shoot me. Ha! Some woman climbed through the window.
"We are here to remove you from the premise." She said. I snorted.
"Why? Is lying to my mom about something small a crime?"
"You have a powerful magic ability. We are here to take you to a place where you can harness that ability."
"How the fucking hell do you know about it? And why do you think I'll go willingly?"
"Because, in case you haven't noticed, these five men have guns."
"That doesn't answer my first question." My mom must have heard our conversation because I heard her cross the floor to stand behind me.
"Ms. Shaadowbend." Mom nodded. "I've come for your daughter, as we agreed."
"Indeed. You can take her." I whipped around to face her, my hat almost falling off in the process.
"What?!"  One of the soldiers grabbed my left arm, catching my other fist to his jaw. The others grabbed me, and, when I resisted, I got the butt of a gun slammed into my head. My world filled with stars and my body went numb as I passed out.

A Note from the Author: ME!
The pictures at the top of the chapters were made on an app called Monster Girl Maker. (Probably the second one as well, I'm looking at it now.)   Go check them out!
I know I have other stories, too, but ideas are ideas.
