Gone (a Zalfie fanfic)

Chapter 2

Zoe's POV

I trusted Alfie. I knew he was the one for me. He did everything for me and put so much effort in. I guess I did sort of like him. Love him more like. We had spent so much time together. Him, being my hostess! It had only been the first week of my new school but I had done a lot! It was good that I came to this school.

Alfie's POV

It was finally saturday and mum was out of the house. I texted Zoe if we could meet up in the park or something. She replied saying okay. I left a note for mum on the table in case she came back early. Not that she would, as she liked staying late at pubs and clubs, but I couldn't blame her, she was just having some fun and not thinking about dad.

I walked to the nearby park. Half way there I had gotten a text from Zoe.

Zoe: Im here now, where are you?

Once I had texted back, I started to walk a lot faster, I was really looking forward to seeing Zoe's beautiful face again. I got there in 2 minutes.

I walked up to Zoe, who was sitting on a swing, waiting for me. "Hey Alf!" Zoe said, smiling. I sat down on the swing next to her. "Hi Zo!" I grinned, examining her perfect smile. We chatted for a bit and decided to go to town to get a drink.

On the way, I silently slotted my hand into hers. I saw her flinch a bit, but afterwards she relaxed. Her hand was so much smaller than mine but it fitted perfectly.

Once we were at Costa, I asked her what she was getting. "A gingerbread latte. They are heaven!" (Just for u Ifitsphanishipit ) She ordered it, but when she went to pay, I payed for her. "Awww thanks sweetie." Was she starting to like me? I ordered the same as her and it was quite delicious. We sat at a table, sipping our drinks and talking. It was nice to have her company. We sat there for half an hour until we had drunken all of our drinks.

I decided to walk her home. Her house wasn't far away from mine. We got to her house and said "bye" to eachother. She pecked me on the cheek and went into her house. She definitely liked me.
