Chapter 2

Maddie's POV
I walked to the cafeteria and looked for Kayla. I looked around the huge room until I found her sitting with 2 other girls.

"Hey Maddie!" Kayla said as I walked up to the table. "Hey." I said sitting down next to her. "These are my two friends Emily and Andrea." Kayla said pointing to her two friends. They both smiled and said hi.

"So have you seen any cute guys yet?" Kayla asked. "There is this guy in my science class who is pretty cute." I said blushing. "OOOHH WHO IS IT?!" Andrea screamed. We all laughed at her excitement and I tried to remember his name. "I think his name is Taylor." I said.

"Caniff?!" Emily asked. "Yeah." I replied. "Oh no you can't like him!" kayla said worried. "What? Why not?" I asked confused. "Because he is the schools bad boy!" Kayla practically yelled. "He seems nice though." I replied. "He's only being nice to get in your pants. After that he will be a jerk." Emily said. "Oh." Was all I said when Someone poked my shoulder.

I turned around and it was Taylor. "Hey" I said to him. "Hey cutie." He replied making me blush. The other girls rolled their eyes and continued eating their lunches. Taylor noticed and said "okay well I guess i'll see you later. Bye." I nodded and turned back around.

We talked about random stuff for the rest of lunch. Soon the bell rang and it was time for my next class.

(I'm skipping classes except science so yeah..)

I stared at the clock waiting for it to hit 2:15. It finally did and I got up out of my seat and made my way to the bus

When I got on I went to the back and got my earbuds out. I looked up and saw Taylor. He sat on the seat next to me. "Hey Maddie?" He asked.

I took out my earbuds and sat up. "Yeah?" I asked. "I was wondering if you wanted to hang out after we get off the bus." he asked shyly scratching the back of his neck.

I don't know what they are talking about he doesn't seem like a player to me. "Sure." I replied. He smiled and I went back on my phone until the bus pulled up to our bus stop.

We got off and started walking. "So do you want to come to my house? Or..?" Taylor asked me. "Yeah your house is fine." I replied. We kept walking just talking about our day.

We walked by my house and walked up to the house right next door. "You live here?" I asked. "Yeah why?" He asked. "Oh I love right there." I said pointing to my house. "Really? So we are neighbors. Cool!" he said laughing. I nodded and followed him into his house.

"Want something to eat?" he asked. "Yes please." I replied sweetly. We walked into the kitchen and I sat at the island. "Mac and cheese?" He asked pulling a box out. I nodded and he put some water on to boil. He sat next to me and started talking.

We talked about ourselves for awhile until the food was ready. We continued getting to know each other while we ate and when we were done we went into his living room.

I sat on the couch and he sat next to me. "Can I ask you something?" I asked him. "Yeah." He replied.

"So I heard you were the school bad boy and you used girls. But you actually seem really nice. So whats that about?"

He moved closer until there was no space between us. "Well I don't know what you would consider "bad" but I would never use you." He said smirking.

I smiled and looked at him. He then pushed me back and.......

So I'm sorry this is a shitty chapter. But I was listening to "like that" by Jack and Jack and I couldn't focus because omg😍. Also I didn't really know what to write about.
