3rd Person POV
Mae found herself waking up way earlier than normal. Not that she could tell the time, she just knew she was awake early. Usually it's Jimin straight at her door but no, meaning she was early or he was late. She sat up, hissing at the pain still in her arm. She was almost certain it was infected by now, this basement wasn't exactly the cleanest. She twisted her neck and cracked her back to try and relieve the stiffness.
She went up the steep stairs and sat on the top step, banging her fist on the door. She knew it was useless, but seeing someone was better than being stuck down there alone. To her surprise, Jimin opened the door after a couple of hard knocks.
"Hey, hey, hey. I was just about to come see you. Are you alright?" he asked, a whisper in his voice. She held her injured arm out to him slowly. Out of everyone, She kind of trusted Jimin. He hasn't been too terrible to me this past week so he couldn't be that bad of a person.
He crouched down to meet her eyes, gently taking her arm and untying the bandana. His mouth actually opened in shock when it was loose enough to move from the wound.
Jimin looked up at her, a serious look in his eyes, "did Taehyung do this to you?" he asked her, searching her eyes for an answer before she gave him one. Mae nodded to him, looking down at her arm again. Jimin ran a hand through his hair and let out a sigh in frustration. "Okay. Uh, Taehyung isn't here right now, so we have time to patch you up. Go sit in the kitchen and get something to eat. I'm going to wake Seokjin." he instructed, quickly heading for the stairs to the second floor.
Mae came out of the basement fully, going straight to the fridge and getting something to eat really quickly. An apple, simple enough. Plus it could be used as a weapon.
Jimin came back down the stairs hurriedly with Jin, a panicked expression on both of their faces, "Okay, okay. Actually, we can't fix you. At least, not now. He's coming back now and if we're caught, who knows what he'll do to you." Jimin explained running his hand through his hair in frustration once again.
"Wait a second. Jimin. You watched me stitch Hoseok up yesterday right?" Jin asked, grabbing Jimin's arm.
"Most of it. Why?"
"Here. Let me see the wound Mae." Jin held his hand out. She agreed, laying her arm in his hand for him to examine. "Okay, since it's a blade, this won't be so difficult. From what I can tell, he cut deep enough to bleed pretty bad but not to the point where he poked a vein. So all you'll need to do Jimin is find a time to go down there and stitch it." Jin explained, looking from Mae to Jimin and back again.
"Wait hyung! I can't do it. Other than right now, I don't get her the afternoon, Jungkook does." Jimin retorted. Mae looked at the time on the stove as it said 10:11 AM, November 29th, Thursday.
"Jungkook will have to do it..." She mumbled, looking down at her wound.
"Wait but what if he notices the stitching?" Jimin asked, looking hopefully up at Jin.
"We have to take that chance Jimin. A cut this big will easily become infected if it's not cared for soon and from what I can tell, Tae is not letting her out anytime soon." Jin answered, letting out a breath before bitting his lip. "Alright. Jimin. You distract Tae in whatever way you can during lunch. While I'm making it and Jungkook assists, I'll tell him what to do. Then when he brings the food down to you Mae, he can fix it." he set up the plan, giving step-by-step as to how it should play out.
"Got it hyung! Distraction and attention? My specialty!" Jimin pipped up, his voice dropping a little and a hint of lust in his eyes. Damn, he was good at that.
