That night I slept peacefully, knowing that at least one person was looking out for me. But then I remembered I shouldn't be sleeping peacefully. I was meant to be meeting Draco in the library. I checked the time and realised that I only had two minutes to get there. Crap. I pulled on my dressing gown and ran out of the Gryffindor Tower. I got there as soon as the clock struck midnight. But no one was there. I waited a couple of minutes. No one was there. Had I been stood up? No... He wouldn't do that. Would he? No... Would he? A couple more minutes. I was still standing alone amongst the books. Yup, I thought. I've been stood up. I carefully navigated my way through the maze of alphabetical shelving and found the exit. I opened the door a tiny sliver. No noise. I opened it fully but there was a figure standing there. I had been caught. They grabbed hold of my hand and dragged me back into the library, into the light.

"Draco?! You've got to stop scaring me like that! And I was waiting for ages, and you didn't show up! I thought I'd been stood up!", I whispered furiously.

"Lori, chill. I'm here now.", he replied, smirking. And then he kissed me. I guess this was going to be a nightly thing then.

After a while I broke off and said, "We should probably go back now."

"Yeah.", he agreed, before planting a kiss on my forehead. "See you in class."

"See you...", I started, but he was already making his way back to the dorms.

I crept out into the corridor, but heard whispering and footsteps.

"Hello?", I whispered into the darkness. More whispers. I decided to ignore it and go get some sleep. I went to the staircase, but bumped into something. But... there wasn't anything there. I reached my hand out in front of me but more whispers and footsteps. I began flailing my arms wildly, trying to locate the..whatever it was. I hit it and felt... fabric? I grabbed at the fabric and whipped it away from the thing hiding beneath it.

"What the...?"
