chapter 17 - Reveal-1

The Balcony

When I reached there, a very cold gust of wind hit me, making me shiver. It was cloudy today and foggy too.

Aha! Found him.

"Hey jerk!" I called out.

"What do want?" He asked in an annoyed  tone.

"Your 'girl friend' is looking for you"

"I know"

Huh? He knows? "Then why don't you tell her that you're here?"
No answer.

"Annoyed by her?" This was the only reason he would hide from her. She was annoying.

Still no answer.

I stood next to him. It's good that I found him here. I really needed to talk to him about something important.
After a long moment of silence, I spoke,

"You knew" I suddenly say making him look at me with confusion.

"What?"

"You knew that yuqi was gonna go missing"
well, I was not completely sure about it but this was the only way to find out the truth about Taehyung.

He frowned" No I didn't , everything was very unexpected"

"Oh yeah? Then why did you agree to go with yuqi when you already had a girlfriend?  Why did you hold her so close as if she would disappear if you let her go? Why were you so worried when she had just gone to the washroom? You knew...you knew that she would go missing that's why you did all those things."

I finally let out my suspicion about him.

Taehyung looked away."I don't know what you're talking about" he simply answered. He can't control his body language can he?

Let's see if I'm right about him

"You're not just a student are you? You and Yoongi?" I knew something was wrong about him. Taehyung quickly looked at me." What are you saying? I've studied here for years" he protested.

"I know but yoongi? You hang around with him a lot. More than Jungkook and jimin. You might know something about him"

"Look , it's not what you think"

"How do you know what I'm thinking? Stop lying to me kim Taehyung. Who are you?

"I'll tell you" we heard a familiar voice from behind us. Great, exactly the person I need the explanation from.....Yoongi.

"I'll tell you" he said again. Taehyung looked at him wide eyed, as if trying to say - stop ! What are doing?
"Then tell me" I replied bluntly.
"Your suspicion about us is right. We aren't just students." Said yoongi.

"Hyung what are yo-"

"You're quiet extraordinary y/n, you figured it all by yourself. I'd  be happy if you worked with us."

"What do you mean?"

"Taehyung and I have been working for a secret spy agency though Taehyung is a tranee."

I was right , I knew it!

"So you came here because?" I pushed further.

"Yoongi hyung don't-"

"A few weeks ago, our agency recieved a call from a rich family claiming that someone was after thier property.The person blackmailed them that he would kidnap thier daughter if they didn't hand over thier property to him. So it was not safe for the girl to go anywhere, that includes school. Thier daughter is from river hills. So we told her not to go out at any costs as she was in danger."

Wait. Is that girl?...

"I told Taehyung about this and instructed him to inform me if anything strange happens, and it did. Jisoo's mother. I had no choice but to come here."

"But why are you telling me this? What if I tell it to someone?"

"Exactly!" Exclaimed Taehyung.

"I know you won't and you can even help us with that sharp brain of yours."said yoongi.

"I have some sleuthing skills" I replied.

Taehyung wasn't happy with this at all." We still can't trust her! I mean ..look at her! She's an animal!" He tried convincing yoongi.

What did he just SAY?

"Excuse me.... IF I'M AN ANIMAL THEN YOU ARE A MONKEY"

"ME? YOU ARE A PIGEON"

"YOU'RE A DOG" we just kept saying whatever animal came in our minds.

"YOU'RE A -"

"okay, ENOUGH" we heard the third voice. We both fell silent immediately.

"You two bicker a lot" said yoongi , rubbing his temple.
"It's his/her fault" we both say at the same time. Yoongi turned to me.
"Y/n, please keep this a secret"

"Sure...I just have a doubt. Do you suspect yeri for all this?"

"Not completely, but yes. She was absent when yuqi went missing which raises a suspicion. That's why I had asked you about her. Remember?"

"Yeah"

"Anyways, I should get going. Y/n, don't tell this to anyone. We're trusting you. Who knows we might even allow you to work with us as an agent." He said.

"Really?!" It has always been a dream for me to become a detective one day. That's what I want to do when I graduate.

" Nooo! " Taehyung shouted.

" Yep. Bye now." Yoongi snapped.

He exited the balcony. I turned to Taehyung and said,"You're a douchbag you know that?"
"Thanks dumbhead." He snapped back.

"Do you play the flute at night?" I asked him.
"As a matter of fact, yes. Yoongi hyung and I use flutes to communicate with different tunes so that no one can understand what we are saying.  It's  part of our training."

"Wow" I grinned.

This is unbelievable. Yet I believe it.

A/n: there, i made up to you for the previous  two  short chapters.
Now you finally know whose Taehyung. That's why this chapter is called 'reveal - 1'
