Chapter-2 :river hills

After a few hours

"Aaaaaaand, done! " I exclaimed and dusted my hands after zipping my suitcase shut for the last time. I can't wait!

" Kim y/n, come down hereeeee~" My mom called out. Ugh what does she want now? By the way, do you know why my surname is Kim but jungkook's surname is Jeon? Well, he is a foster kid. He was adopted when he was just two years old by my family. He knows that too but it's a sensitive topic for him. I sometimes pity him for that, I'm a few months older than him but still treat him as my younger brother.

" Whaaaaaaat is it now" I asked and sighed. Jungkook was sitting at the table finishing his unfinished sandwich while my mom suddenly handed my purse to me. Whaa?  Do I have to go buy something?

" What are you thinking of buying on your birthday? " I asked jungkook while picking up some fresh veggies.
Mom told us to buy some groceries for dinner so that she can make something special on our last day at home.

" Hmmmm, a video game if mom allows me " he answered as he picked up a watermelon.  He tapped it a few times and started playing a whole beat on it as if it was a drum.

" You should return Jimin's video game first then maybe you can buy a game. No wait! You have to buy me a new HAIR DRYER. " I smacked his shoulder. This idiot broke my THIRD HAIR DRYER.

Jungkook finally kept the watermelon back in its place and pushed the trolley ahead. " Chill, I'll buy you a new one soon "

" or NeVeR!"

As soon as we entered the house my mom called out, " honey, you had a phone call from Nayeon! "

My eyes widened and I quickly handed the grocery bags to jungkook before sprinting to my mom in the kitchen .

" what did she say? " I asked eagerly.

Nayeon's one of my  best friend at school, it's always her, Lisa(My other friend) and me wherever we go. We have known each other since middle school.

" Well,  she said that she won't be going to river hills this year" my mother answered me as she took the bags from jungkook peeking into them to see if we have brought the right ingredients.

" What?! Nooooooo!" what will me and Lisa do without her?

"why is she not coming?" jungkook asked her.

"I don't know, she said it's family buisness."

I wish I could ask her the reason in person.  She's never the type to explain on phone.

Uuuugh why does this always happen with me?

Next day. At the train station.

Jungkook and I were already on the station waiting for our train to river hills. I could see some of my classmates who live in the neighborhood too. There was a chaos. However, I couldn't find Lisa although she lives near me.

" Call me when you arrive there okay? " Mom said and pulled the both of us into a last hug as the train stopped on the platform.

" Bye mom! " I waved as jungkook and I climbed on the train with our luggage.  She gave us a flying kiss and waved back.

"Ha! " I sighed when we finally settled in a random compartment. I kept my bag on the shelf above us. " Yaaay" I cheered without any particular  reason.

" Y/n, I'm gonna go catch up with my friends, they might be here too kay? " Jungkook said and I only rolled my eyes. I have told him to call me Noona a lot of times but he never listens.

" Okay, but don't tell them I'm here will you?" I said. I want to avoid them as much as possible or their trio won't let me breathe.

Jungkook had a smug look on his face
" What if I do? " he teased.  See?!  That's what I'm talking about. 

"No-

" Jungkook!!" Someone interupted me which made me look at that person. Wrong move....

He came stumbling before us almost landing on his face.  Always the clumsy person he is. He composed himself before smiling at both of us.

Jimin

" Hi y/n!" he waved cheerfully.  I scoffed, that's just an act.  He does that every time.

" Okay jungkook you can leave  with your FRIEND" I gestured with my eyes that he better leave with Jimin before something bad happens.

My brother gulped. That's right get scared of me. Or I'll beat you into a pulp.

" Let's go jiminie hyung or I'll get murdered by my own sister " he ushered Jimin .

" Well,  okay, but y/n, wait till you meet taehyung, he got some new tricks up his sleeves, I just came to warnnnn you" Jimin made a spooky voice.

" I hope I never meet him, NOW LEAVE WILL YA"

" Okay okay! "

Both the boys left snickering among themselves

I folded my arms glaring at nothing  just thinking about how to avoid these jerks this coming first semester at school.

" I hate boys" i said to myself

" Girl, tell me about it " a familiar voice said.  I looked up and beamed.
" Lisa! I looked for you everywhere! "
I shifted a little so that she could sit beside me. " Yeah,  I got late" she said goofyly.

" Did you get a call from Nayeon too? " I asked her and she nodded.

" Aish, we gonna feel lonely this year sis" she patted my back.

" Tell me about it "

Four hours went by quickly and before you know we were already going to reach the place.
One thing I forgot to tell you about river hills is that it's actually located on the hills far away from the city on a private and remote place. It was soo high that we could see the whole of Seoul city from here. I always love places which are away from buildings and factories. The greenery makes it seem as if it's our own little world.

We finally arrived at our huge school . It's enormous gates were open to welcome the students. There were hundereds of other students arriving in taxis or in big cars . You could say that river hills is a school for the rich but I only see it as a normal school and my second home.
All the students were filling in one by one and I could feel the adrenaline running inside my veins. I'm finally here..

"I missed river hills"

A/n: hiya!  Hope you liked this chapter!  I can't help but notice  how similar I'm making this story to Harry Potter. But it's only the start which is like this. The story's gonna a take a whole turn ahead so stick with it because you're gonna love it.
