Police
Blood was pooling around her body. A single stray bullet was lodged in her forehead. A perfect shot.
The Wolf had gotten rid of her, done, gone.
Officer Hunt ran a hand through his salt and pepper hair. Anger grew within him. Twenty-three victims not even one survivor, Poppy was so close to being the only victim who lived.
The Wolf had slipped out of their hands again.
“ She was only fourteen” Hunts muttered under his breath.
He looked back over at the girl. Her eyes were opened in surprised; a few stands of hair brushed her face as the wind swept over her body.
Hunts stood up straighter and slipped into his police car determined to find the Wolf.
He would stop at nothing.
