Prologue

She is nothing but a wealthy girl who gets what she wants. Revenge takes over and even her heart falls apart.

"Where are we going again?" Nicole asked as she gave me one of her beloved custard bun. Tinanggap ko naman ito.

"Boracay" I simply said without looking at her. Binuksan ko naman ang plastic ng custard bun at kinagatan ito.

"Mmmm. It is going to be my first time there" she said habang ngumunguya.

I glanced at her. Her eyes twinkling as she looks at the planes we can see through the glass walls.

"Are you that excited?" I asked. Tumango naman siya.

Napaisip ako, this is our first time traveling together. We mostly just hang out on our condo while monitoring the move and progress of the Falcon Corporation.

Thirty minutes before our boarding, we are sitting along with other people who's about to go to different places. These planes in front of us know and sure of their way to arrive on their destination. I know I am too. I've thought of it for years and I am sure of what I am doing.  There is no backing down. Heading to the right place.

I was lost on thoughts when Nicole noticed that we only have five minutes left kaya tumayo na kami at pumunta sa boarding area at sumakay na sa eroplano. We looked for our seats. Naupo si Nicole sa tabi ng bintana at ako naman ang sa isle.

"Tulog muna ako ha, sana ikaw din" sabi ni Nicole at nagsuot ng eye mask. I can't sleep the whole time we are on the plane kaya inisip ko na lang yung mga gagawin namin sa Boracay.

The orange and yellow sky of Boracay greeted us pagkalabas ng eroplano. Boracay was packed of local and foreign visitors wanting to enjoy themselves this summer of the year. Pagkarating sa hotel ay natulog muna ako dahil na rin sa pagod at kadahilanang hindi naman ako nakatulog papunta rito.

"Hey, it's already six in the evening, chop chop get up, let's gooo!" nagising ako sa boses ni Nicole. Hindi na ako umangal sa pag-gising niya sa akin kaya bumangon na ako at dumiretso sa bathroom pagkatapos kumuha ng towel para makaligo.

Pagkatapos kong maligo nakita ko si Nicole na nagsscroll sa kanyang cellphone, tapos nang mag-ayos.

"Wow, mukhang mayayaman talaga ang nasa party ngayong gabi" sabi niya at nagtitingin ng mga pictures sa instagram.

"Isn't these your friends?" tanong niya at iniharap saakin ang kanyang cellphone.

I saw a candid picture of my friends that was captured with a flash. It was uploaded by the event organizer. Their appearances matured even more, like I did. After years, tonight is the first time we will see each other again. I recently contacted them, I just felt like the time wasn't right before, I wasn't ready yet before, I guess.

Tumango naman ako sa kanya at tinuloy na ang pag-aayos ko. I looked at myself in the mirror wearing a light make up that doesn't cover my natural features. I let my long black straight hair as it is.  I wore a black mesh fitted long sleeves and underneath is a black bikini top together with a black highwaisted shorts and a gladiator sandals.

Bumaba kami at dumiretso sa bar malapit sa dagat kung saan ginaganap ang party na tinutukoy ni Nicole kanina.

Even though the party is just starting, the place was already packed of people. I was busy looking for the persons I came for and suddenly a loud voice shouted my name.

"Misha!" tinignan ko kung saan ito nanggaling and there, I saw my friends seating in a u-shaped couch. I smiled at them at tumungo roon.

"I missed youuu!" sabay sabay nilang sabi at isa-isang kaming nagyakapan. "I missed you too guys!" I pouted.
