People are swaying, jumping and dancing on the upbeat music echoing inside the whole house and I am at the center of it.

Some are making out at the corner and some are drinking to their fullest and while the others are chatting and laughing.

What a lame thing to do at a party.

I am enjoying myself with the house party thrown by Polly, the school presidents daughter. She's neither my friend or acquaintance but I really don't care because wherever the party is, you can see me and my bestfriends there.

Speaking of bestfriends, I was shocked when Abby pulled me out from the crowd. I groan, annoyed at what she did.

"You should see this!" she exclaimed, ako naman ay napakunot ng noo sa kanya.

Hinila niya ako sa pool area at nakita ko naman ang iba pa naming kaibigan. They are sitting on a circular table and waving their hands telling us to hurry.

"Ano ba kasi yun?" Can't they see, they ruined my momentum right there!

Gwen hand me a phone at kinuha ko naman ito sa kanya. I was wondering what is it that they want me to see ubruptly, but it was not that important.

I got my own phone and started to type something and sent it.

"What did you sent?" Abby asked. I was sensing something on the way they look at me and probably I am right.

"Did you guys place bets on this?" Tanong ko at tumawa.

"Come on, sabihin mo na lang!" Tine said.

"Whatever ako na lang ang titingin" at kinuha ni Gwen ang phone ko.

They hand me the phone kung saan nasa instagram story ng kung sinong babae ang current boyfriend ko. They are actually making out on some bar and I don't really care. It is not like we are serious with each other.

"Okay guys hand me down your money because I am the winner!" tumayo pa siya at sumayaw. Tinawanan ko lang sila.

"Ano? Nakipagbreak ka? Akala ko ba you are still having fun with him?" Yanne said in disbelief.

"That was yesterday, but today I realized he is boring" Sabi ko naman, at uminom ng alak na nasa table namin.

"Ugh! Dapat pala hindi nako nagpalit ng choice ko!" sabi ni Abby habang kumukuha ng pera sa wallet.

"You are really unpredictable eh?" si Tine, kinindatan ko siya and she rolled her eyes.

We are having a chat when someone announced that a fight between Samuel, the governors son and Daniel, a business tycoon son erupted. As if may artista, some people ran their way inside the house to see what's happening. Who wouldn't love to see the fight? It will be huge.

Daniella came from inside the house. She looks unbothered tho'.

"I heard it was because of you Daniella? " Abby said and sipped in her drink after. Nagkibit balikat lang siya.

"Same blood running through their veins after all" sabi naman ni Yanne at ininom ang inumin niya. Daniella and I both laughed at the thought.

Daniella is a cousin of mine. Only one cousin tho. She is a year younger than us. Kaya mostly she tag along with us because other girl loathe her. Insecured of her to be exact. She is indeed gorgeous. Pang miss universe ang ganda.

Tine recommends to take a dip in the pool and we did.

After playing in the water for a while, umahon ako sa pool at tumungo sa table namin kanina. I saw my ex about to sit to the next table from us so I called him.

"Ed!" napahinto naman siya at timingin sa direksyon ko. Hindi ko alam kung matatawa ako sa reaksyon niya o magagalit dahil he make faced at me. I gestured naman na lumapit siya. I know kahit ayaw niya pupunta siya. I laughed inside my head.

"oh come on, you are wet!" reklamo niya nung niyakap ko siya. Kumalas din naman ako agad at sinuntok siya sa braso.

"Mapanakit ka talaga e no! Sinaktan mo na nga ang puso ko at eto ka pati pisikal" sabi niya naman at umarte pa na nasasaktan ang puso. Inirapan ko siya at tumawa sa sinabi.

"Ah, so hindi na pala kita pwede kausapin ngayon, ganon? At excuse me, as if ikaw lang ang nasaktan" at umarte naman siya ngayon na gulat. Nagbelat naman ako sa kanya.

"O kayo na ba ulit?" tanong ni Daniella at kumuha ng towel at pinatong sa balikat.

Inakbayan ako ni Edmark at tinanguan si Daniella "Okay lang ba?"
"Sus charot charot!" yung lang ang sagot ni Daniella at umalis na ulit. Natawa naman kami ni Edmark.

"Advance Congratulations!" I exclaimed to him, agad niya namang nakuha ang sinabi ko. Ed was three years older than me, and he is graduating his college this year.

"Thank you" at ginulo niya ang basa kong buhok.

"Peace and justice!" sabi ko gamit ang malaking boses. I mimicked what he always say kaya natawa kaming parehas.

"See you Baby" sabi niya after namin magcatch up at kumindat bago kumaripas ng takbo. Napailing na lang ako sa ginawa niya.

Edmark Villamor was my first boyfriend, we actually had a good relationship, but we were too young for the relationship so we ended it and remained as good friends. He is one of my trusted fellow until now.

"Mimi!" Tawag ni Yanne saakin habang naka-upo sa gilid ng pool.

The cold water enveloped my whole body after I jumped in the pool. I am happy to enjoy every bit of my life without controlling me.

I groaned when I felt the pain on my head. Ngayon lang ulit ako nagkahangover. I opened my eyes and saw an unfamilliar ceiling. I looked around and saw that I am with my friends as well as my cousin. We are crumpled in the room.

A knock from the door surfaced and I opened it just enough for my head. I saw Edmark behind the door and I was confused.

"Buti naman gising kana" he smiled.

"How did we end up here?" ako na nakakunot ang noo.

"Seriously? You are all drunk except for Ella and I thought you guys are better safe here kaysa naman iwan ko kayo doon" he explained.

I agree of what he said. Most of my friends have low alcohol tolerance. I mostly clean up their aftermath, still sober but last night was different. I am free again. So I really drank hard. I guess I'm at fault yesterday night. I sighed.

"Sana naman naghilamos ka muna, may muta ka pa" dagdag niya at ginulo ang buhok ko. Bago ko pa siya mahampas ay nakatakbo na siya habang tumatawa.

Nagising na rin ang mga kasama ko at isa isa na kaming nag-ayos para bumaba at para kumain. I was thankful and apologetic at the same time when I learned that Edmark's parents and his younger brother is not home and is on a trip. Dahil mahihiya ako para sa sarili ko na inabala ko pa sila at nagsama pa ng iba. Even though I am close to their family, nakakahiya parin.

We are saying our thanks to Edmark when their van arrived.

"Thank you" I said at niyakap siya. "I can really depend and trust you" dagdag ko pa.

"Ikaw pa ba? Malakas ka ata sakin Baby!" at nangasar pa nga po siya. Hinampas ko siya sa braso at tumawa lang siya.

Sumakay na rin ako sa van nila and mouthed thank you again to him before their van get out of their house.
