"What's the purpose of life if you're not with me?"

THIRD PERSON'S POV

The other night was gloomy, it was depressing, sad, like someone just died and they're grieving.

Chaeryeong and Ryujin are going to sleep with each other since Ryujin began having nightmares. She finally told Chaeryeong about it after a year of having bad dreams

They already turn off the lights. A couple of minutes passed but both cannot sleep.

Chaeryeong's thinking about the revelation that happened last day, and Ryujin on the other hand kept thinking about Yuna. She can't wait to meet her again

Suddenly, a loud bang on the door was heard. It keeps repeating. Ryujin decided to check it and so did Chaeryeong

As soon as they were at the staircase they hear Lia's crying voice.

"Open this door!" She shouted while knocking continously

She sounded drunk. Like really drunk.

Ryujin ran towards the frontdoor and opened it. Lia plopped down to her.

Lia's face was filled with tears and she smells like alcohol.

'Where the heck is Yeji?' Ryujin thought to herself as she started calming the crying Lia

'Did they broke up?' Ryujin asked herself, she looks at Lia with pitiful eyes

"Hey, it's alright. What happened?" Ryujin asked softly, she smiled at Lia while fixing her hair

"R-ryujin!" Lia choke on her own words

Her mind can't handle it anymore. She decided to tell Ryujin about Yuna. She can't just see her wait for Yuna for the rest of her life without certainty that she will be back

"Ryujin, I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry." Lia cannot breathe normally because of the hard feeling that's weighed on her chest

She feels so bad. She felt like it's all her fault that Yuna's not coming back when truth is, it's not.

"What are you sorry for? Oh, Lia, stop crying. Yeji will kill us if she knew." Ryujin patted her head while Lia's burying her head on Ryujin's shoulder

Lia is thinking impulsive, will she still do it even if it means breaking Ryujin's world apart?

Chaeryeong on the other hand was already crying at the stairs but Ryujin didn't noticed

'Oh my Ryujin, you deserve all the love from this world.' Chaeryeong thought to herself while sobbing quietly

Ryujin helped the latter stand up, she assists her towards the sofa and locked the door before asking questions to Lia

Ryujin thinks Yeji and her argue that's why she's so wasted when truth is, it's the opposite

Suddenly, Ryujin's gaze turn to Chaeryeong who was also crying

Ryujin's face soften, something feels odd about the two. It doesn't seem right. Why is everyone crying?

"R-ryujin, listen to me!" Lia put her hands on Ryujin's cheeks, making her look in her eyes

Lia immediately broke into tears again when their eyes meet, can she do this? Can she tell Ryujin about what's really happening?

"Lia, come on just tell me what's wrong maybe I can help." Ryujin softly stated while massaging Lia's shoulders

"It's about Y-yuna." Lia cut the eye contact, her gaze went to the carpet avoiding Ryujin's

Although she's certain the alcohol got to her head, she's determined to tell Ryujin about what she heard and what she saw

Meanwhile, Ryujin felt her heart stopped for a second. She can hear her heart beating from her ears.

Chaeryeong didn't have the courage to tell Ryujin herself so she's only letting Lia to do it.

"W-what's with Yuna?" Ryujin can already feel that it's not a good news, she tighten her fist

"Ryujin, she-... she lost her memory," Lia cried even more. Ryujin's shoulders wet from her tears. It was the first time she saw Lia crying so hard so she thought it's a serious issue.

But she never thought Yuna's going to be the reason for it.

Ryujin kept her mouth shut, the words that escape Lia's mouth is still processing in her mind.

Without knowing Ryujin's already crying, her tears cannot stop falling down. It automatically falls.

But what hurts the most is the next sentence that Lia said

"Yuna's getting married Ryujin, she's-" Lia didn't finished her sentence

Ryujin started walking away. She stare at the two girls while walking backwards slowly. She can't believe it

Was she betrayed? Is this a prank?

But she knew it wasn't.

It all makes sense now, is that why Yuna's not showing herself because she didn't know she have someone she left behind?

Ryujin ran away. She ran away hoping it can release the pain she's feeling at the moment. Her heart felt like getting stabbed a million times

Her feet brought her to the place where they had their first kiss.

Ryujin breathe deeply, trying to calm herself. She closed her eyes as tears started falling. Her vision blurry, and her hands and knees are trembling

She dropped to the grass feeling weak.

'Do I deserve this?' She asked herself while staring at the night sky

"AAAAHHHHHHH!" Ryujin screamed the pain out of her chest but even if how many times she do it, it doesn't work. The pain she's feeling became worst.

'How many times do I have to suffer?'

"AAAAHHH YUNA!" Ryujin cried and cried and cried that night while calling Yuna's name

Hoping that the girl will show up and tell her everything's fine. She's hoping Yuna will show up and tell her it's just a dream, it's not real, that she loves her so much.

But, no, no one showed up. Only her muffled cries can be heard at the park as she hugs her knees while crying her heart out.
