Trips Around Erdas: Part 1

Hey everyone!! I hope you enjoy this Reilin oneshot, that will be a part of a four part series.
Meilin woke up to the sound of banging on her door. She sat up in bed slowly and turned to Jhi who was sitting across from her. They shared a look of wariness, and then Meilin approached the door.

"It. Is. EIGHT THIRTY AM!!" Meilin yelled and flung the door open. Abeke, Conor and Rollan stood there with Abeke standing in front of the boys and the boys cowering behind Abeke's back. As soon as Meilin saw Rollan and Conor, she sighed.

"Sorry, guys. What's up?" Meilin asked with her hand on her head. The three looked at eachother silently debating who should come forward. Finally, Conor stepped up.

"We have some good news for you." Conor said staring at his feet. "Oh, really?" Meilin asked. At her reaction, Conor relaxed.

Abeke cut in. "Olvan told us that there is some business that needs to be taken care of in each of our hometown countries. So, we get to visit each one!!"

"Really?! That's awesome news!!" Meilin smiled at all of them. "When do we leave??" Meilin turned and gestured to Jhi to follow as the four heroes of Erdas started to walk down the hallway.

This time Rollan finally spoke up. He had been in the back looking very tired and he finally turned to speak. "We leave tonight on Tellun's Pride. We are going to Zhong, Eura, Amaya, and finally Nilo before we return to Erdas. We get a day and a night in each country."

"Wow!! I can't wait to see Zhong again. I haven't seen it since we defeated Princess Song. We better eat breakfast and then start packing." The four shared a smile as they walked down to the dining room.

TIME SKIP- They are now just arriving in Zhong.

Meilin could barely hold in her excitement as she leaned over the railing. "Meilin, be careful. You look like your going to fly off the edge." Rollan came over and stood next to her. Meilin offered him a bright smile.

"I'm just really excited!! I haven't been back home in forever." Meilin stared longingly at the beach coming into view.

"We're here!!" Abeke called from across the deck. "C'mon!! Let's go Meilin!" Rollan called to Meilin as they raced down the deck to the stairs.

Conors and Abeke were there waiting for them with luggage in their hands. Rollan and Meilin grabbed their own luggage and then they stepped out onto Zhong.

Meilin lost her breath as she took in her surroundings. She remembered the shops, the people, and even the roads and trees. Not a lot had changed since she had been here to fix it up before the Wrym.

"We can stay at my old house." Meilin told the others as they began walking down a brick road. It didn't take long before others started noticing the Four Fallen. Essex soared above head to look out for any terrorists, Brigham and Uraza stalked along side them and Jhi was leading the way down the path.

It was clear by the pandas body language that she belonged here. Jhi was strutting confidently along with Meilin. Many called out to Abeke, Conor, Rollan, and especially Meilin since it was her home town.

"Look over here!!" "Meilin I'm your biggest fan!!"
"Look, I've learned how to fight just like you." Meilin nodded at a few old acquaintances but other than that ignored the comments. Rollan had a big grin in his face and Conor and Abeke just waved a little at all the attention.

Finally they made it to Meilin's old house. Meilin started at the house in awe but also a bit of sadness. The house reminded her of her father.

The others noticed the look in her eyes and tried to distract her. "So, are you going to give us a tour?" Rollan asked as he nudged her shoulder. Meilin smiled up at him.
