Aisha didn't talk much the next couple of days after her parents death..she was mostly quiet and didn't even smile... whenever I tried to engage her in conversations she just nodded and most of the times..she didn't even pay attention.....her mind was always solemn..
she looked like me....when I lost Nilima...a lost soul...and to see she doesn't turns out damaged and cold like me...i was planning on stuff but couldn't decide...
"Take her out somewhere..it's been a long time and you didn't even go for a honeymoon....." Rahul said when I asked him for suggestions.....I never wanted to go for a honeymoon as my mind was still stuck on Nilima and niether did Aisha complain....Also the timing for one isn't right currently...she needs time to heal...I went home earlier than usual and took her to the same restaurant where we went the last time when she came to my office....
she was wearing a dress and looked stunning..I told her that she looks gorgeous and she thanked me politely giving me a clipped smile.....
"Do you want to go for a honeymoon....."..I asked her while having dinner..."If you want to we can...."she said without looking at me...I frowned......"Alone"....I joked in an effort to lighten her mood...she just smiled and continued playing with her food......
"I thought girls get excited on the mention of honeymoon...Tanya prepared a big ass list planning a honeymoon for six months...but came back after a month when Rahul got stomach infection..."..I told her to lighten the mood and smiled when I saw a genuine small smile.....
suddenly a young girl came to our table.."Hi..I'm Faiza.."she said to Aisha.."Hello Faiza I'm Aisha.."she replied and gave her a smile....."Have I seen you on T.V....I think you resemble a model...."she asked her..Aisha laughed..a real laugh..God I missed the sound of it and I also missed her dimples...I smiled in response.....
"No Faiza I'm not a model..I'm a simple married woman..here's my husband Aditya.."she said and pointed towards me.."I saw you from my table..you're really Pretty..so I wanted to confirm.."she said.."Thank you so much.."Aisha said and blushed....looking at the girl going back to her table....
"She's right you know..you're the most gorgeous women I ever met...anyone can mistake you for a model.."..I told her..she blushed looking at her table rather than meeting my eyes....."Please stop now.."she said shyly....
"Many boys would be after you in school or college..."..I asked her with a deep burn in my heart...What the fuck....I thought and straightened myself....."I went to an all-girls school and college..so no chances of boys.."she said and I laughed....
"So no one ever told you they liked you earlier"....I asked her seriously shocked but also deliriously happy....."No..once the brother of my best friend told me that he liked me..he told me that he wants to marry me......"....she said.....
God my heart burnt..."what did you say".....I asked her.. curious to know her answer.."I told him that he is like my elder brother.."..she said and I laughed.....thank god I thought...."you're dangerous"..I told her and she laughed in response...
"You also told me that..."..she said blushing furiously..."In you office..the other day..."...she said and I nodded...my eyes fixed on her....
"Aditya...I'm sorry...I haven't been myself lately...I feel like I'm not acting as the wife you wanted me to be...I've been so distant...I...I...just don't know what to say..."..she said while I looked at her confused...
"Aisha its natural...I understand...don't feel that way....you don't need to apologise...what are you even thinking...."..I asked her and she gulped...
"Don't stress yourself...We came here to relax...come on have your dinner..."..I said changing the topic...and she gave me a small smile....
we had our dinner and walked out of the restaurant.."you want your chocolate ice-cream"..I asked her..she refused.."I'm tired just want to go home"....she said..I nodded..

"what happened you want something.."she asked me with confusion...."umm..yeah".....I told her rubbing my neck.."I actually wanted to watch a movie....You can join me if you want to..."I said while she looked at me....
"okay..I'll just change and have a shower..I'll join you in 20 minutes.."she said.."great..I'll have a shower too....don't fall asleep..."..I joked and she smiled......"okay"she chuckled and went to her room...
AISHA'S POV:-
The dinner was nice..I enjoyed a lot for the first time since my parent's passed away...and on top of it Aditya asked me for a movie..I don't think I'm still alive....I think I am in heaven..
I pinched myself..it's for real..I told myself...I took a shower and applied my strawberry shampoo and body wash...he liked to smell my hair...run his fingers through them when we sat together......I changed into my black nightgown and towel dried my hair since blow-drying it would take a lot of time....applying my lip balm...I went downstairs...
