Y/N's eyes dried leaving her tired and worn out. Arthur has told them a lot of different options along with the safety of each, Y/N wanted to keep this child even though it was the most dangerous option. She wanted to continue living her life like a normal wife and mother, a life where she would talk to her friends while watching her little boy or girl run around and have fun. Was the choice unfair? Unfair to Alfred and the child? She didn't want to either to suffer. If Y/N died, what would happen to Alfred? She was going to die before him anyway, both knew that. He was immortal while she wasn't. If she died now, what would the difference be? 24 verses 80?

"I want to keep the child," Y/N's words flooded out of her mouth without thinking. Who knew if the child would even make it to birth. They all looked over to her. All their eyes piecing into her's. What was she thinking? She wished the words never left her mind, the pain Alfred would feel if she died, if the child died, would be unimaginable.

"Okay..." Alfred's voice cracked slightly as his eyes filled again. He wanted a kid. He wanted a family, but he wanted a family with Y/N. He had been talking with Arthur about how Y/N could become like them, live forever. This didn't mean they couldn't die. If they were wounded they could but they wouldn't age. Now, that plan to make Y/N immortal went out the window at least until the baby was born... if they baby is born.

Alfred walked his three guests out, thanked them, then walked back to Y/N's side. She wouldn't make eye contact with him.

"Y/N?"

She kept her head turned to the pillow next to her. "I'm sorry."

"Wha-?"

"I didn't mean to say that." She turned her head back to him. "I shouldn't have said that. I don't want to hurt you!" Tears streamed down her cheeks. She reached out for his white T-shirt and pulled him towards her pushing her head into his chest. He was warm and soft: comfortable.

He wrapped his arms around her back removing any space between them. "Just... don't leave me..."
