Spot slept in the back of an alley, orders of every boy he had just rescued from the refuge. He had taken several hits during that one day, and his head still pounded, though not as bad as it had the day before.

Suddenly, he realised what time it was. "Boys!" Spot cried, jumping to his feet. All of the boys woke with a start. "Wese slept in! De courts startin'"

Everyone jumped up. Spot, Race, Jack and Tunes raced ahead of everyone, running as fast as they could to the large court house in the town square, not caring how many people they hit on the way.

When they made it to the court house, the door was locked.

"No!" Spot cried. "No how are wese gonna get it?"

The refuge boys arrived shortly. "Ise know a way." One boy, Ace, said. He grabbed Spot's wrist and dragged him around to the side of the building.

"Ise saw an open window when Ise was runnin' up. Ise give you a boos up dair, and Tunes, but Ise won't be able ta lifr your friends."

"Ise can help." Another boy said, stepping forward. He handed Spot the cane had had stolen from Snyder, saying that it had dropped on the way here. Spot slid it into his suspenders and stepped into Aces hands. Ace lifted him to the window and he grabbed the edge. He pulled himself into it, rolling over the edge and landed on hard floor in an empty office with a grunt. Tunes followed soon after, almost landing on top of him.

"Ace, slower!" Spot hissed. This time, Jack and Race came in at least fifteen seconds after the other.

"All right, fellas, lets find Rep." Tunes said excitedly. He ran ahead before anyone could stop him. Spot followed, Jack and Racetrack trailing behind him. They opened several doors, only to find each one empty. Then they came to one where they heard talking and Reptiles voice, too.

"'E's in here!" Tunes whisper yelled. He almost opened the door, but Spot pulled him back.

"Wese gotta make a plan in case things go wrong!" He whisper yells back.

"Well, youse got your cane. Isn't dat enough?" Race whispered yell to.

"No, ya dumbo." Spot whacked him on the head. "Jack, if anythin' goes wrong, ya go and unlock de doors. Run an' tell de boit ta wait by de door an' stay dair. If wese need dem, wese gonna go an' get dem."

Jack nodded and took off.

"Race, run as fast as ya can an' get Caleb an' 'is siblings. Wese might need dem, too."

Race smirked, nodded, and ran as fast as he could.

"What'd Ise do, Spot?" Tunes asked.

"Me an' youse, wese gonna hide an' wait." Spot could tell that this dissapointed the boy, but there was nothing else to do. Tunes was young and he was hurt pretty bad, though he wouldn't let the other boys know it. They needed an army and they needed one now.

Jack came back soon, panting.

"De bois waitin' be de door, Spot. Where's Race?"

"'E went ta get Caleb and 'is siblings. Wese may need dem along wid de odda boys."

"Yea." Jack said. He was smiling, but Spot could tell that he wasn't smiling about Tiger and the obvious crush Spot had on her.

About thirty minutes later, Race came back followed by Caleb and Tiger. Tiger's eyes brightened when she saw Spot and she wrapped her arms around him in a hug. Then she did the same to Jack and Tunes, though not as long as she had done to Spot.

"All right, wese gotta get a move one, fellas. De court may be down by now." Spot ordered. Everyone nodded and followed his lead. Drawing his cane, Spot ran into the room.
