Raine later got up and walked to her room as Angel came out of her back like a shadow and walked with her, she was more elegant than Clara, "Hello Lady Hellings, are you feeling any better?"
"Yes ma'am, my bruises still hurt a little, but they'll be better soon, " she said.
Angel opened her eyes a little but smiled, "My Lady, you do not have to say 'ma'am', for I am your servant." Raine nodded and blushed, "Y-Yes ma- I-I mean, okay!!" Her mistake caused Angel to giggle.
The little girl hopped onto her bed, hugging her stuffed toy, which it was a dog named Simon. "How are you, Mr.Simon?" She asked. Clara possessed him, in which making him talk and move around. "Well let's seeeeee~ I am doing super, super, fabulously, fantastic~!" He ruffed and jumped around. It made Raine giggle, "That's good, I'm very glad that you are."
"Yes indeed, but, it seems that your skin shows that you are not. Ruff! How did this come to be, ruff, ruff!" He crawled into her lap and licked her bruises and blood off. It made her giggle uncontrollably; she hid her mouth and smile with her two small hands. "Aye! What do you think you're doing?!~ I wanna see your beautiful smile!" He barked and jumped into her lap, digging at her hands.
"O-Okay, okay!" She gave in by slowly removing her hands. Simon barked happily and licked her cheek again playfully, "Welp, it was nice talking to you! I have to go, I think your butler is about to come." Raine waved him goodbye and he became lifeless, like any other stuffed toy.
Shane knocked on her door and cracked open the door just a little, "Miss Raine, your parents are waiting for you in dining room." Raine was sitting there on her knees silently. This made Shane a bit concerned, "Miss Raine?" He asked softly.
There was then a silence in the room before she shook her head quickly and turned to him, "O-Oh, I'm sorry!" She got off her bed, fluffed her dress, and walked out of her room with Shane. 'I'm always so curious about this little girl. .' The head butler thought to himself.
Since their mansion was enormously large, it took them a few minutes to get to the dining room. On the way there, they passed by few other rooms, for example their library which in addition it taking about one-sixth of their mansion. They later passed by the entertainment room, being partially additional by the Phantomhive company's toys. Room after room, window passing by another window, they made it to the dining room. Shane professionally opened the doors and bowed, "I have brought Lady Raine, my Lord."
Her father and mother smiled at her. Her father stood up and opened his arms, "Cone here darling, " He said sweetly. Raine softly giggled and darted towards his affection. She hugged him tightly, "I'm here father!~" Her eyes gleamed at her mother as they peaked out of the father's chest.
"Don't hog the child, my dear." Her mother said, and pulled her away gently to give her a shower of kisses. Raine giggled more as her stomach roared of hunger.
"Alright, alright, let's feast, shall we?" The father snapped his fingers as a tall man came in, wearing a chef attire.
"Tonight we have lobster salad as the appetizer with the main course being lobster bisque." He said, setting the plates and glasses down. Raine looked up at the chandelier glowing brightly but suddenly looked at her plate. She then looked at the chef, Jackson, "Thank you very much Jackson, I appreciate the food you make me everyday, " she nodded and smiled softly. Jackson softly smiled back.
"It is my job, for you do not have to thank me." He bowed and sat everything out for them. Raine glanced at her parents but gazed at her food, "Mother, Father, may I start bri-bringing my o-own food to lunch at-at school?" The parents both exchanged a confused look, "Why is that, Raine?" Her mother said. No reply came out. It took a second for her to even open her mouth, "B-Because other kids u-usually abu-abused me for my-my lun-"
Her father slammed his hands on the table, standing up, "Dammit, Raine!! You are a Hellings!! You look down at people, and you kick their asses if they think differently!!! I'm sick and tired of you coming up all bruised and bloody! You will stop of this!!! Am I clear?!" He shouted, his tone full of mad. Raine's eyes widened as her face became pale, she didn't say anything.
"I SAID AM I CLEAR?!" He almost screamed. Raine nodded quickly and sniffled, "Yes, sir, I understand. ." The mother then shouted at the father as Raine stood up, "May I be excused?"
"No, eat your dinner. Then you will get ready for bed." Her mother said as nice as she could. Raine sat back down and ate her food. Not one word came out of her mouth until she was done. Jackson and Shane felt bad and left the room, not trying to get that little argument into their heads, besides, they had work to do.
Raine got done while she wiped her mouth and pushed her chair in. Shane then escorted her out quickly. Their maid, Rosalie, passed by them as she saw Raine slightly crying. She knelt down to her level and stroked her cheek, "My lady, what is the matter?" Raine sniffled, "Papa yelled at me because I don't hurt the kids at my school. I don't want to hurt people, Rosalie!"
Rosalie frowned a little, "My dear, later in life. . There's alot of people you'll have to hurt. . .Your father is just doing what is right for you, he doesn't want to see you like this anymore. .and neither do the servants, " she said. Shane nodded.
Raine nodded gently and kept walking, "Yes ma'am." Rosalie smiled at her manners.
"Give her a bath, I'll get her night gown out for you." Shane said. The maid nodded and walked with Raine to the bathroom. She soon started a warm bath and undressed her.
The little girl sat in the warm water, meanwhile the maid washed her worries away. It made her calm as the pouring water mixed with her silent tears falling.
