Stormy Weather

In days like this
When the rain falls mercilessly
And the wind blows wild
The sea reaches the couch
And I,
I reach for your touch
The salty taste is forced into my mouth
Causing the thirst to have you in the house

Thunder is sounding
Sun waving goodbye
Darkness taking over the sky
And this time,
No stars to enlight the eminent dusk
I hope the wind won't shuffle my thoughts
Neither the rain dawns my dismay

Murk is blended with light
Clouds clash, causing a flash
Exposing the faulty part of me
Plunging me in dispair
I could really use a prayer

Freezing drops hitting on my face
My hair is a mess
And I'm to blame
I wish the rain could take the guilt
To either drown or bury it deep

The storm eats me away
Me and You have gone astray
And I'm in a flooded division
Wondering if you could be in the region
I'd locate your beats in an instant
The truth is,
It is my fault you wander so distant
