Third POV

The ninjas are sleeping in their room peacefully. But that was until Sensei Wu came in banging a gong.

"Evil doesn't sleep, and neither should you." Sensei Wu says to the ninjas. "In order to reach your full potential, we must greet each day as an opportunity." He says afterwards.

The ninjas groan as they get up.

"Okay, okay, we're up. But if you want us to reach our full potential, shouldn't we at least get a full night of rest?" Kai asks as he gets up. He walks over to the window blinds to open them, but they fall to the floor instead.

"You call that rest? I think my back has more lumps than the mattress." Cole complains as he gets up.

"We were up so late, talking about how cool it is to have a new headquarters I guess we lost track of time." Jay says as he walks over to the sink and grabs his toothbrush. He turns the sink on, but only dust comes out and lands on Jay's toothbrush. But Jay didn't notice. "Since the serpentine burned sown the monastery, I'm just glad we have a roof over our heads-" Jay starts to spit out the dust and toothpaste that was in his mouth.

"What is our lesson today, Sensei? Mastering the strike of the scorpion? Or perhaps the grace of a-" Zane starts to say. But he stops when he falls through the floor boards. Zane starts to cough with all the dust in the air.

"I think today's lesson will be chores." Sensei Wu says to the ninjas.

"Chores?" The ninjas ask at the same time.

"Ninja fight, Sensei. They do not clean. In order to respect ourselves, we must respect our new home and where we are from. And this place is a long way from becoming a ninja headquarters. I expect things to be spotless when I return. And put your backs into it." Sensei Wu says before leaving the room.

Cole helps Zane out of the hole in the ground.

"This place is gonna take forever to clean and fix up." Kai complains.

"Unless we put ore than our backs into it, huh?" Jay says to everyone.

The ninjas started to clean the entire ship while using their powers to make it faster. It didn't take them long to clean.

After a while, Nya and Sensei Wu come in the room, where the ninjas are playing video games.

"what took you so long?" Kai asks Nya and Sensei Wu.

"Wow! This place looks amazing. You guys did all this?" Nya asks the ninjas.

"Ninjas don't just fight, Nya. We clean." Cole says.

"Oh. You have exceeded my expectations, but can you keep it up?" Sensei asks the ninjas.

Nya looks out the window to see a car coming towards the ship. "It looks like we're about to have some visitors. And loud ones at that." Nya says to the Ninjas.

"Oh, it's my parents. Please, if they start yapping, just don't get them going? They don't know when to quit. And If you start talking, then they'll start talking, and suddenly half the day is gone before you know it-" Jay starts to say to them.

"We get it. They talk a lot. The cherry doesn't fall far from its blossom." Kai says as he interrupts Jay from talking.

The ninjas walk out of the ship and see Jay's parents getting out of their car.

"Mom, Dad, what are you doing here?" Jay asks his parents.

"Oh, look, it's my baby boy. It's been so long since we've heard from you." Edna, Jay's mom, says with excitement.
