Third POV

The ninjas are training outside. Sensei Wu was surprised to see them actually training.

Each ninja was doing their own thing.

Zane is meditating and soon stands up and runs through the whole obstacle course. He jumps past jay, uses Cole's scythe to hit one of the dummies, and covers most of the training room in ice, causing Kai to slip and fall.

Kai, Jay, and Cole meet up and start talking about Zane.

"This roof isn't big enough for the four of us." Kai says.

"Correction. This roof isn't big enough for him." Cole says afterwards.

"It's like he's in own world. I bet he can't even hear us!" Jay says the last part a little louder to see if Zane cold hear them. It turns out that Zane wasn't listening.

Sensei Wu walks over to the three ninjas.

"Sensei, Zane's weird." Kai says.

"What is weird? Someone who is different, or someone who is different from you?" Sensei Wu asks.

"No, Sensei. He's 'weird' weird." Cole says.

They were naming off some times when Zane was acting weird. Like when Cole was in the bathroom reading a newspaper, and Zane walks in to comb his hair. Another time was when Jay and Nya were watching a romantic movie, and Zane was laughing throughout the entire movie. And the other time was when Kai was going to get something from the fridge, but Zane was sitting in the fridge eating a sandwich.

"We like the guy,he's really smart. He's just, uh, a little off sometimes." Kai says to Sensei Wu.

"Zane is a brother, and brothers are often different. I should know." Sensei Wu says.

After a few seconds, the bell rang, signalling that the mail is here.

"Mail!" Kai, Cole, and Jay yell as they run to the door. Only Zane walks to the door.

The door opens to reveal the mail man. The mail man starts to looks through his bag. "Let's see, a letter from Jay's parents." He gives the letter to Jay. "Kai has a fan letter." He gives the letter to Kai. "Oh, something from Cole's father." He gives the mail to Cole.

"What? No package? I'm expecting something from Creatures, Beasts, & Beyond." Cole says to the mail man.

"Hmm, no, nothing from, uh... Ah, here it is." The mail man says as he looks through his bag and pulls out a box.

Cole take the bag and says, "Ha! Rocky's gonna love this." He then runs over to his dragon.

Kai and Jay read through their letters.

Zane only stands there looking lonely.

"Hey, Zane, how come you never here anything from your parents?" Jay asks as he looks at Zane.

"I don't remember my parents. I've been an orphan all of my life." Zane answers sadly.

Kai and Jay look at each other.

"You mean you've never had a home?" Kai asks.

Zane looks down and shakes his head.

"The monastery is your home now." Sensei Wu says to Zane.

Zane stays silent and walks into the monastery.

I was watching the serpentine work on the tree house next to Lloyd. I then look down and think for a minute.
