S2:E9

(Hello, fellow readers. I know I haven't been updating much for a while now, but I'm back. I originally lost the motivation to continue writing. I was also busy with school and family for the past couple of months. But looking back at everyone's comments on this story about wanting me to update the next chapter, I decided to finally continue. Anyways, here's the next part. Hope you all enjoy. <3)

(Y/N)'s POV

Sensei Wu and Zane went off to look over the ocean because Sensei Wu informed us about a dark island. So they are having the falcon fly over and look around.

While they are doing that, Nya, the ninjas, and I are trying to repair the Destiny's Bounty.

But Nya told us that the ship couldn't be repaired to fly because the rotors on the starboard boosters are destroyed.

"So if the Stone Army attacks again we're sitting ducks." Cole says.

"Uh, ducks can fly, Cole. Weren't you listening?" Jay says to Cole.

Now that I stop and think about it, I can just transform into a bird right now and fly off. Or even follow the falcon. But it's best for me to stay with the others and help them.

"We just got our tails handed to us and we couldn't even stop one of them. I hate feeling helpless." Kai says with disappointment.

Sensei Wu walks over to us, with Zane following right behind him. "We mustn't give up hope, Kai."

"But the Stone Army is indestructible. You saw it. At best, all my powers could do was slow them down." Lloyd says afterwards.

"That's not entirely true." Misako says as she walks over. "There is a way to defeat them. And it is told within the scrolls."

This catches all of our interest. So we go into the Destiny's Bounty to see the scroll that Misako was holding.

"The prophecy reveals that the power to defeat the Stone Army lies within the green ninja." Misako explains.

"I tried. I gave them everything I had." Lloyd says to Misako.

"Yes, but you are stronger than you think. Look. The true power of the green ninja can only be unlocked when his five protectors find their own pure elemental powers." Misako continues to explain as she shows us an image on the scroll of the six ninjas. AKA, us.

"Are we the protectors?" Cole asks.

"Obviously." I say while looking at the scroll.

"Yeah, of course we are. Right?" Jay ask.

"If we are the protectors, then (Y/N) is the only one who can protect Lloyd. We, on the other hand, are doomed. Our elemental golden weapons no longer exist. We cannot tap into our elemental powers without them." Zane says.

Now I am a little confused. "But the powers exist, right?" I ask.

"Yes, the powers do exist within each of you. And there is a way to unlock your powers on your own. We must go to the Temple of Light." Misako explains.

"Temple of Light? What's that?" Nya asks.

Misako pulls out another scroll and opens it. "The gold in the golden weapons was from the Golden Peaks but they were forged in the Temple of Light, a powerful place I thought only existed in legend."

"It's on the Dark Island?" Sensei Wu asks.

"I think our only choice is to find out." Misako answers.

"So we get our powers back? All right!" Cole says in excitement.
