"Officer Jeon!" The commander spoke firmly as he gave Jungkook a once over with his eyes.

"Yes, sir."

"What are those marks on your neck, boy?"

Jungkook touched his neck with a confused look on his face. The area just above his uniform collar stung a bit. He knew what they were: his parting gift from Soojae.

"Those are love bites, sir," He answered truthfully.

"From whom?"

"My girlfriend, sir."

"Right then. I'm sure you know that marks like those should not be seen when you have your naval uniform on, Officer Jeon." The commander winked at him before moving on, "We all have loved ones who abide by that rule. Be a bit more careful next time."

Jungkook sighed out in relief, he thought he would get in big trouble. He had been in such a rush to leave his apartment that morning that he hadn't even noticed the hickies on his neck being visible.

"Dismissed!" A loud voice shouted from the port side of the ship deck. The naval officers all scattered to catch up with their friends and head to theirs cabins to put on their day to day attire, rather than the official uniform they had to wear for the departure.

"Hey, I thought old Bang PD was going to murder you when he noticed those hickies," The cheerful voice of Taehyung spoke as he slapped Jungkook on the back in greeting.

"So did I," The younger laughed.

"You're lucky he likes you," Jimin mused as he walked towards them with his cap under his arm.

"Soojae sure went for it," Taehyung exclaimed as he looked down the collar of Jungkook's shirt to see the red and purple marks leading down to his chest. Jungkook slapped his hand away, slightly embarrassed.

Jimin laughed, "Dear God, were you too at it until the minute you had to leave? That explains why you came out of your apartment not even dressed properly. Overslept my ass."

"Hey, Hana and I were until you came knocking at my door as well," Taehyung shrugged, making Jungkook feel a little better, "You know it's hard on the girls when we have to leave."

"That's true. Soojae literally wouldn't even let me go to the toilet this morning."

"Well it sucks to be you guys, my girl is right over there," Jimin boasted, nodding towards a certain female officers across the deck.

"Chim, you are so lucky you're dating a lieutenant. Gigi always makes sure you two are deployed at the same time." Taehyung moaned, frowning a bit.

"I wish I could just bring Soojae rather than leave her all by herself in our apartment," Jungkook said.

"I second that," Taehyung nodded.
