Setting: Some hotel in Davao

*Knock-knock*

"Nag-aaya sila Mia, mag-iikot daw sila sa labas." Lita said as soon as Ben opened his door.

"May bukas pa ba sa oras na 'to?" It was almost 10 pm. There was a certain curfew implemented in the city so going out for a few drinks was not a good idea. Mabibitin lang sila.

"They're probably going to 7-Eleven for hotdog and ice cream lang." Lita shrugged.

"Then let's just stay in. Tell them to go ahead..."

"Kayo nalang Mia. Thanks."

"Can I stay in your room, then?" She said, hopeful. He just scooched a bit to the other end of the bed and tapped on the open space beside him.

She plopped on the bed.

"Bakit parang mas masarap dito sa kama mo?"

"Maybe, it's because of my presence?" He smirked.

"As if. I swear mas comfy ata kutson mo dito. Tsk." She laid down on his bed and stretched her arms out, closing her eyes to relax herself.

"Anong ginagawa mo?"

"I'm sleeping. Duh."

"You can do it own your own bed, naman. Why did you have to go here?"

"Hindi mo ba ako na-miss?" Lita knows that Ben can't resist her pouting lips.

He pulled themselves closer and they cuddled.

"I miss our tent days - I can't seem to sleep without you beside me." He was playing with her hair, arranging it to the side so he could place a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"I told you naman na you can sleep sa condo. I have a big bed, you know."

"Like it would matter, we don't need space anyway..."

They both sighed, feeling at home in each other's warmth. They soon drifted off to sleep.
