They were not able to sleep in through the night anyway. Lita went to bathroom to pee and Ben, feeling the sudden emptiness in his arms, was woken as well. They could not go back to sleep so they decided to play a game.

"Ben, let's browse Twitter. I'm sure we made an uproar once more."

She said as she sat herself up and leaned on the headboard.

"And whose fault is that?"

He followed suit, moving closer to lean his head on her shoulder.

"Yours and mine, of course. We're a team, you know?"

She pinched his cheek lightly.

"As the fans say, bundol na naman."

He sighed.

"Why do they call it bundol, anyway?"

She was genuinely curious.

"Hindi ba when you say na-bundol, it means that something crashed?"

He raised his brow.

"It does. So what crashed?"

She followed up.

"I would say their hopes and dreams for us to be together for real are the ones that crashed, but they only speak of bundol when we act sweetly towards each other..."

He tried to make sense of it.

"Yeah, so it's weird."

She shrugged.

"Maybe they call it bundol because they were already content with us being just friends but they see something uncharacteristic in us that ruins the flow... It's like you're traveling on this straight path and you hit a speed bump."

He explained seriously.

"Wow, you have really thought about this, huh?"

She was amused.

"I guess I'm trying to make sense of them as they're also trying to make sense of us..."

He was deep in thought.

"Hmm. Okay, let's see what's the latest on us. Let's use your phone."

She went over his arms to reach for his phone that was on the bedside table.

"No, use your own phone. What if we accidentally click on the heart button. They'll know we're lurking."

He warned.

"Wise. All right."

She started scrolling through their tag. He was browsing with her while his one arm was wrapped around her shoulder.

They were reacting to every little post they were seeing. Some posts were bewildering, some were amusing and some were heartwarming. They were grateful for the love either way, that's for sure.

They must admit, they felt the kilig as well. They should know, they're the ones who feel firsthand that spark with every look and every touch...

They looked each in other's eyes, bearing the same question...

What are we again?

Na-bundol din ata sila.
