the echoing of horse hooves hitting the pavement was a warning like a gun in the air,one to which the people of small heath listened to running as the familiar coal horse walked out,its rider playing no mind to the whispers and people making path hiding away from the man,

thomas shelby a leader of the Birmingham criminal gang, the Peaky Blinders and the patriarch of the Shelby Family right beside him as always was a grey full  Arabian horse its beauty matching that of it's rider, bastet shelby wife to thomas and other leader to the criminal gang peaky blinders

her mint green eyes dancing down at them from the rim of her hat,the way she watched them made them freeze like children thrown in the dark

left with their imagination to make up horrors it was amusing to her to watch them hide but watching like little mice just the thought made her lick her lips flashing a slight smirk showing off her peal white teeth another thing to be jealous of the woman sneered in their thoughts never showing enough bravery to speak with in her presence

her husband looked over their eyes meeting, green with blue ,amusement with hunger, worship with love the two were envy of all those who seen them or heard of them.no woman could sway his eyes of his wifes and no man could attempt to sweep her off her feet ,no the two were truly meant for each other.a match made in heaven fools would say, a match made in hell others who truly knew them would whisper

lifting his wife's gloved hand he held a smirk at seeing the glint of blades and pressed a kiss making her smile one he had fallen in love with at first sight she was a danger yet with him the ice melted, she could tear him down with a single sentence of words or build him up she was truly the one in power yet he never felt lesser

the two came to a stop as a older chinese man and younger woman raced around the corner before stopping in front of the couple who stared them down with cold and unforgiving eyes one mistake and the two knew they would become food for the dogs bastet liked ''sir, madam'' he bowed not being able to look into her eyes before looking back over to Thomas

''this is her'' he presented the nervous girl ''the girl who tells fortunes?'' his voice was hoarse, husky and everything to make a woman swoon but the coldness ward people away the warmth saved for the woman sat beside him

under the gaze of bastet the girl tried not to shiver but failed miserably but the smirk and flash of the older womans teeth the hairs on the back of her neck warded her off the wind whispering warning that she already knew off yet as the older man was given the money she knew what she needed to do even with shaky hands

bastet titled her head showing off more of her face that was shadowed by her tilted hat and watched with curiously as the young girl poured red powder out from a pouch on to her hand chanting softly in foreign language before blowing the red powder into the horse's snout causing the horse to neigh shaking its head until Thomas took control.

the girl went to do  the same to bastets horse who   Reared up yet unfazed bastet calmed her down ''no,my girl doesn't race'' bastet told the young girl in mandarin shocking the young girl and man who looked at her in wonder but fear as hunger glinted in her eyes

she could hear the children whisper in wonderment irritating her ears which her husband noticed turning away from the two wordlessly giving them the command to leave

which they gladly followed ''the horse's name is meaghan boy, kemp ton,3:00,monday'' thomas concluded there little visit telling the people one which horse to bet on '' ladies have a bet your selves but don't tell anyone else.'' bastet added following her husband who waited for her a smirk gracing her lips that kissed and ended the life's of many, a loaded weapon more powerful then a gun yet as beautiful and soft as the petal of a rose
