Rawson Curisco folded the letter. Consternation etched deeply into his face. A hardened, chiselled face carrying a thin dark beard and moustache. His mind analysed almost every word. The author suffered the burden of knowing something important enough to write this.

But who?

He sipped at his cup of milk, a habit recently picked up from his father, Curisco, who refused to drink coffee or tea. Just milk. All the time.

Hearing a commotion at the top of the steps, he quickly put the letter into his jeans pocket and turned just as Edward appeared at the kitchen door.

"Top of the morning, my sexy man," Edward said, floating towards him stark naked. He hugged Raw from behind and whispered, "I don't want you to lie to me."

"Lie? About what?"

"You love being hugged from behind, admit it."

Raw smiled. "Love it," he grabbed Edward's semi hard-on. "Especially when your dick is in my hand."

Edward smiled and kissed him on the neck. "Love you. You eaten already?" Edward said, releasing him. He pulled a chair at the table and scattered a spoonful of sugar over his porridge.

"I have. Couldn't wait for my princess to finish up. I have a long day ahead."

"You're meeting Earl Logan this morning."

"Exactly why I need to get to the gym early. It's a prize catch for us and I need to prep on his background."

"And make a good impression. Earl Logan. Sounds like a cowboy," Edward giggled.

"I spoke to him on the phone yesterday. He has like, like a scrape in his voice."

"And this is important, why?"

"Just saying. He seems to know what he's talking about when it comes to boxing. He's had a few noteworthy fights. Thirty-five in all. Lost five. Wants to change his management because he believes he's getting a raw deal."

"And he's gay," Edward said.

Raw shrugged. "I don't think so. If he is that's his business."

"He's a household name. The press would have picked up on it by now."

"That's what worries me. He has a huge fan base and the gym can only facilitate so many members. We might have to relocate if it gets bigger."

"Or start a franchise," Edward said.

"Enough time to think about franchising and relocating. Let's see what happens today. I'll keep you up to speed. Are you coming to the gym later?"

Edward ate the last spoonful and pushed the bowl away. "I'm seeing this socialite interior designer at ten. He wants me to design gardens for his interior ideas. So I'll be late getting to the gym. Hopefully I'll be in time to meet this macho Earl Logan with the scrape in his voice."

"Do I hear a jealous twinkle in there?"

"Maybe."

Raw leaned over the round table and kissed Edward long and deep. "No one will ever come between us. Ever. I love you."
