Who doesn't love Candles right?! Well this Chapter I will be writing about Candles and there Magic they give to us. Most people light candles because it gives a nice relaxing feelings to the room and others may have them for scents, aromas for their house or rooms. If you sacred of lighting a candle and setting the room on fire then you shouldn't have candles or buy them. Its all about your energy you give it. I always take special care of my candle, not leaving them alone and always them on a cold plate when I am not in the room. A cold plate is a small plate of water at drop level and then you place the candle holder on top of it. If you have a bare candle without the holder place a small versa under it so that way it can avoid it falling over or catching on fire with any object around it. "CLEAR THE AREA OF THE CANDLE" I always make sure of that too when lighting a candle.
So getting onto the subject of Candle Magic!
Each candle color means different things so be mindful of what you want and be clear.
Remember that your intentions needs to be strong, talk to your candle - weather you whisper it or scream it out loud what makes it comfortable to you. Don't say it in your mind, your candle needs to hear your words from your mouth.
Yellow
Associated with abundance and joy, yellow is the shade I work with when I'm feeling down, , or just need a burst of sunlight in my life.
Orange
Orange is wonderful for to help in creative endeavors.
Red
Passion is often associated with the color red, and for good reason. It's often used in and is wonderful to add to your life if your sex life has been a bit lackluster, you want to attract a new lover, or simply want to . If you're in a long-term relationship, lighting red candles or sprinkling red roses over a bed promises a night of passion. It's true — there's a reason red roses are a cliché.
Pink
Pink is also a color of love, but it's softer and gentler than red and great for self-care.
Purple
Work with purple to get in touch with your intuition. Purple is also wonderful for adding oomph to creative projects and is associated with royalty.
Blue
Like a calm day at the beach, blue is a color of peace and protection.
Green
Green is the color of Earth, growth, and therefore also of earthly possessions. Hell yes, it's also the color of cash, and that's no coincidence.
Black
Some witches warn of using black in Magick, such as lighting black candles, as there is an association between "dark Magick" and the color. I personally disagree. Its normally used for protection, uncrossing, and can be used to ward off any negative vibes that may be thrown your way.
White
The white candle is very useful for cleansing and purifying, so it's great for clearing away old energies and bringing in fresh, new, happy ones.
This is just a guideline but you don't have to follow it, example if you need to cleanse and your feeling sad and you don't have a white candle to cleanse it away; you can use a black candle to banish the feelings away.
Another Example:-
You need good intuitions but don't have a purple candle, Although you have a white candle instead you are most welcomed to use that and put lavender herbs on it with oils, Mix it together in a bowl, you can add essential oils if desired and dress the candle. Tell the candle your intentions. It'll work the same way and add more of a cleanse to your brain flow too.
