🌸Ring- Sihwa

Seonghwa bend down looking under the sofa hurriedly then stood up sighing, he had been searching for his ring for now almost an hour, it was his engagement ring with Sihyeon, his girlfriend, she was still at her university for now, she would probably get home in about half an hour. "Oh god where is it ?!" The boy shouted out of frustration, thinking of what her reaction could be, anyhow he knew for sure, he was in trouble.

Seonghwa stopped for a moment, putting his hands on his head as he scanned the whole room, nothing here, just like the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. "Did i leave it at work..." He jolted hearing the bip sound of the door, Seonghwa rushed to the bedroom throwing himself on the bed, acting as if he slept, maybe it'll give him another day to find the ring.

Sihyeon walked in, leaving her shoes at the entrance and putting down both her bag and jacket on the sofa. "Babe?" She called out to Seonghwa then frowned hearing no response from him, "Seonghwa?" The boy just covered himself with the blanket hoping she'd think he was sleeping, the minute she got in the room, Sihyeon smiled rushing to his side.

"Are you sleeping.." She whispered patting his head, Seonghwa underneath the blanket couldn't help but to play nervously with the finger where the ring was supposed to be. "Babe wake up, you didn't eat yet" Her soft voice spoke up, still whispering to not abruptly wake him up, she stood up on her knees then leaned in to kiss his cheek. "Let's just sleep, i'm tired" He finally replied pulling her back in the bed without using the hand where his ring was supposed to be, he wrapped his arms around her, preventing the girl from moving.

"...what do you mean, 'let's just sleep' ?" Sihyeon asked frowning, it seemed he had forgot it was their 1 year anniversary together, if not why would he want to sleep on such a special day ?

Seonghwa kept quiet noticing the change in her voice, he knew he had to answer fast before she got even more mad, for whatever reason it was. "I meant-" Too late, she already got up pulling the blanket away from him pouting. "Did you forgot about it, Seonghwa?" He was now completely confused, she was mad, he wasnt covered anymore so she could notice the missing ring at any moment and apparently he also did another mistake.

"No, i didn't forget i swear babe" Sihyeon scoffed pushing away his hands from her shoulders, "alright, then tell me, what didn't you forget?" Seonghwa brain worked at full speed at this point, what could he possibly have forgot ?

Sihyeon tilted her head tapping her feet while waiting for her boyfriend to answer then looked down, noticing both his hands not wearing their ring. "Where is your ring ?" It clearly wasn't his day.

"Okay, i'm sorry baby, i don't know what happened but i can't find that ring." He explained staring at her with an apologetic expression. "You know what? Nevermind, just go to sleep like you wanted to." She was about to leave the room when he rushed in front of her stopping to the door, blocking her from walking out. "Let's talk it out, please" Seonghwa held her hands which she quickly pulled away from.

"Talk about how you forgot our 1st year anniversary and even lost your ring on the same day ?" She replied, a rather sad expression now, Sihyeon was truly disappointed, she thought this day would be an unforgettable one, at least, she clearly didn't expect this. "You even tried to hide it and ignored me before telling me we should do what? Sleep? Were you thinking of buying the same one so that i wouldn't notice?" Seonghwa kept quiet looking down while biting his lower lip, maybe it was because of her cracking voice when she told him all that, but he truly felt horrible for making Sihyeon feel like this on such a special day.

"If i find it, will you forgive me for being such an asshole?" She shrugged, walking back to the bed to bury herself in the covers, the girl truly wasn't in the mood to fight, she rather wanted to cry than scream. Seonghwa walked out, determined to find it no matter what, after all it couldn't have slipped off his finger, he either left it at work either didn't search well the appartement. To find out, he called his friend Wooyoung who was still in the office at this hour.

"Can i ask you a favor, Woo?"

"Yeah?" Wooyoung replied on the other side of the line, making Seonghwa sigh relieved.

"Can you search around the office real quick to see if there isn't a ring somewhere?"

"Bro you lost your engagement ring ?" Seonghwa hummed yes, Wooyoung gasped before sighing, he knew his friend got in trouble.

"Alright, i'll take a look. If it isn't here, i'm telling you, i won't let you sleep in my house."

"Yeah sure. See you" Seonghwa put his phone in his pocket taking his keys to go there, hoping it didn't get throw away by the cleaners already. After what seemed like an eternity of driving there, worrying about Sihyeon, he finally arrived in front of the company where Wooyoung was standing in front of the hall.

"Your engagement ring out of everything?" Wooyoung pointed out shaking his head, he actually wanted to laugh at the misfortune of his friend, but for now he couldnt. "Well, anyway, here." His friend handed him the ring, exploding into laughter as soon as Seonghwa took it. "You really couldn't do worse than losing this. Good luck hwa!" Wooyoung turned, walking back in the building while Seonghwa stared at the ring putting it back on his finger.

He hurried back in his car, wanting to get back to Sihyeon as soon as possible, he tried calling her on the way, even though he knew she wouldn't answer for sure. He stopped the car and parked it then walked in the apartment, slowly going in their bedroom. "Babe~"

Sihyeon frowned hearing his voice, he probably found it since he was shamelessly calling her with this flirty tone. "Go away, i don't to talk with you." She turned her back on him when he crouched down to her level, ignoring his presence as she pulled the blanket over her whole body. "I found it babe please.." Seonghwa got on the bed, pushing her phone to the side and pulling away the cover to see her, he sighed seeing her puffy red eyes, she probably had cried while he was gone searching for it.

"Alright, hit me, i deserve it." Sihyeon rolled her eyes, still not moving nor talking, she only stared at him a death glare. "I'm sorry, i ruined our day..."

"Yes you really did." The girl replied looking down, if she looked up to him she felt like she'd get even more mad than she already was. "..Did you cry because of me ?"

"If you don't shut your mouth you'll be the one crying because of me" Sihyeon said looking up to him with a glare, almost ready to jump at him once he even breathed too loudly. Seonghwa sighed staring at her silently before wrapping his arms around her waist to bring her closer to him. "Let me go..." She whispered, her head buried in the crook of his neck, smacking his chest to push him away.

"You can hit me all you want, i'm not letting you go"

"You're a dumbass.." The girl replied, leaving a soft kiss on his neck before closing her eyes, finally smiling. "And you love that dumbass?"

"Do i ?" Seonghwa chuckled caressing her head, making Sihyeon smile widen even more, hugging him back. "You don't want to celebrate?" He asked knowing she'd fall asleep soon if she didn't get up.

"You were right...let's just sleep, it's okay as long as i'm with you.." Seonghwa smiled, looking down to lift her chin up with his thumb and index. "I love you Sihyeon" With that the boy kissed her softly, his arms pulling her even closer before she started giggling pushing him away. "Alright stop!" Sihyeon brushed her head against his palm, asking for more cuddles, just like a cat, which he always found cute.
