Harry grabbed a quick shower while Lacey grabbed his dark green suit along with clean boxers, laying them out on the bed and going to the wardrobe to get changed herself.
When he got out of the shower he tended to the wounds with the first aid kit Lacey gave him before he entered the bathroom. He quickly cleaned his wounds and put plasters over them., wrapped a bandage around his upper right arm.
He then left the bathroom and entered his bedroom. He smiled at Lacey when he saw the dark green suit on the bed. His smile grew when he saw her in a matching dark green dress. He quickly changed into the suit and did Lacey's hair for her, giving her a braided crown.
"Boy! Get down here! And bring your dog!" Vernon's deep voice hollered up the stairs. Signalling that the guests were near.
Harry made his way down the stairs with Lacey sitting on his left hip. Once he entered the living room where the Dursleys were sat, the doorbell rang. "Boy go and greet them with your dog." Vernon spoke, not moving from his armchair.
"Of course, Sir." Harry replied before leaving and walking to the front door. Both Harry and Lacey were not allowed to call Vernon anything other than Sir. This is because he still wants nothing to do with magic, so even though they are family, they are not allowed to refer to him as family.
Harry opened the door, seeing two people who he was not expecting to see, along with one face he wished to never see again. "Hello. Please come on in." Harry opened the door wider allowing them inside.
"Hello, again Mr Potter." Said the vial man who Lacey has come to despise a lot.
"Hello, Mr Dolkins. I do believe that you know where the living room is?" Harry asked Mr Dolkins with a soft smile but no emotion in his eyes. This interaction confused the other two guests.
"Why yes, I do. I'll make my way there while you talk to my nephew and his friend, cutie." With that, Mr Dolkins made his way to the living room. Leaving Harry with the two people he wished were not inside the house.
"Potter?" The dark-skinned boy asked.
"Hello, Mr Zabini. Please don't mention anything about knowing me or about Hogwarts. It is for your own safety." Harry said. He was so used to speaking a certain way that he couldn't help but carry on speaking that way.
"Potter. What are you on about? And who is this?" Asked the girl.
"Daddy? Who are they?" Lacey asked, hiding her face in Harry's neck.
"They are... Friends... From Hogwarts, Buttercup." Harry replied. Unsure of what to say the relationship was, because he didn't want Lacey to be afraid of them or to hate them.
"Boy!" Vernon's voice boomed through the hall, making both Harry and Lacey flinch out of habit. This did not go unnoticed by the two guests.
"This way to the living room." Harry said ignoring the concerned looks from the two, put a fake smile on and lead them to everyone else.
When they entered the room, the two guests nearly chocked on the tension which seemed to appear out of nowhere. "This is my nephew Blaise Zabini, and his friend Pansy Parkinson." Mr Dolkins told Vernon and Petunia, with an open bottle of beer already in his hand.
"Well, it is lovely to meet you both. I apologise for this one's behaviour. He still needs some training." Petunia stated motioning to Harry, concerning Pansy further.
"It is ok, Mrs Dudley. He was very helpful actually." Blaise says smiling at Petunia who looks surprised and annoyed. Pansy starts to make her way towards Harry and Lacey.
"Why don't you go and make lunch?" Petunia states, talking to Harry.
"Of course, ma'am." Harry replies. Before he leaves the room Pansy speaks up.
"May I look after your daughter? I just have a soft spot for kids." She says giggling a little. Blaise laughs with her and after a couple of seconds, Petunia forces a laugh.
"You most certainly do, don't you Pans." Blaise says seeing that she wanted to talk to the girl about what was going on.
"Sure. Thank you." Harry says as he puts Lacey on the floor.
"Daddy..." Lacey says quietly so the Dursleys couldn't hear her.
"You're ok, Buttercup. I trust them with my life." Harry reassures her, taking both Pansy and Blaise by surprise but they are quick to hide their surprise.
Pansy holds her hand out for Lacey, who quickly walks over to her and takes it. Harry watches as Blaise starts talking to Petunia to prevent her from hearing Pansy's conversation with Lacey, which is happening on the sofa. Once he was satisfied that Lacey was safe, he left the room and went straight to the kitchen.
When he made it to the kitchen, he began to make lunch for the Dursleys and the guests.
After that, the rest of the day flew by, and, before Harry realised, it was time for him to go to work. He made his way quickly to the club and entered. He greeted his boss. She was the only one who looked out for him in the muggle world. She would occasionally make sure that he ate before starting to work.
You see, the Dursleys never allowed him to eat. Their reason being that he was already fat and didn't need fattening up. She was the one who told him one day that he was severely underweight. Since then she has threatened to call the police almost every day he goes to work. "They are going to kill you." Is her excuse. She's not wrong. But he still doesn't like other people knowing about what is going on.
"Hey, Harry! Have you eaten today?" She asks. She always asks the same questions.
"Yeah, I have actually. Had guests round and they insisted that I eat with them." He replied a smile on his face.
"Who were they? I need to thank them. I mean, you are actually smiling a genuine smile and you're not talking about Lacey." She says before tackling Harry in a hug.
"Thanks, Kaitlyn. But I should probably get changed and start work." Harry points out laughing at Kaitlyn's craziness.
"Yeah. Well, table 6 is your's tonight. Be careful, please." Kaitlyn says letting go of Harry and giving him a concerned look.
"I'll be fine, Kaitlyn. After all, when am I not?" Harry states, making his way to the staff room to get changed before Kaitlyn can reply.
Harry took his clothes off and put on his tight, black, leather trousers, and put on the boots. Luckily, Harry is able to use some spells, so he hid his cuts and bruises with a simple spell. Then it was time for him to start his shift. "Table 6, here I come." Harry whispers to himself before entering the club.
When he got to table 6, there were people sat there that he was not expecting to see in that place. Ever.
"Potter???"
Hello everyone!
I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Please comment what you think, as I'd love some feedback so then I can improve my writing skills.
I would also like to say that the character Kaitlyn is based off a friend of mine. Kaitlyn, if you are reading (which I doubt you will, but just in case) I love you so much, and I'm very grateful for you being my friend. And I also miss you a lot.
So, for this week, comment your best friends. Maybe they will feature in this story. Who knows?
I hope you are all doing well, staying safe, and staying home as much as you can during this crisis. Remember, we are here to talk if you want, and no one will be judging you. What is said on here, stays on here.
Also, let me know of any ships you have. Whether it is Harry Potter, anime, real life, or something else. I don't care if they are straight ships or gay ships. I just want to know what ships people like so then we can try and widen the stories and ships on this account.
Lots of love, Jasmine xxx
