(LEVI'S POV)

The first day of school left endless-like nightmare in my mind. . .

I just hoped that the next days would not be like that in any ways. . .

2nd day of school in Canteen

"What the? Are you just fucking kiddin' me?" Debbie was shocked after I told her what happened to me last night.

"Do I look like I'm kidding? After all that happened, are you still thinking that what I told you is impossible? Wake up!" I answered with conviction. "Look, after the murder that happened here in the university, and as long as the murderer is not yet discovered, every single crime and play is possible! I'm not scaring you...I just want you to keep yourself safe," I continued with eyes filled with crystals that were about to fall.

"Well, you have already scared me!" she exclaimed. "But hell, no one can make a Debbie just fall that easy. You know me Levi," she defended and laughed afterwards. I just smirked at her because I know she just described herself the opposite of the real her.

"Anyway, I have to go. We have to rehearse our presentation for the next class," she explained as she stood up and got her sling bag with her. "Will you stay here?" she asked.

"Yep. I'll just go look for someone," I smiled.

"Who...?" asked Debbie raising her eyebrow.

"Nothing. Just go, bye!" I shook my head as she smiled maliciously.

I looked at her for a half minute as she walked away just to know where she would probably go. Then, I roamed my eyes for a while, hoping that my eyes would catch my intended prey for that day. I turned my head to the counter and fortunately saw the guy in black hoodie.

He was buying something.

He caught me staring at him but immediately ignored me and was about to walk away. I stood up from where I was sitting and chased him. I grabbed his arms.

"Sorry!" I shouted at him but my eyes were looking down, clutching his sweater. He removed my hand and faced me.

"Why?" he asked in a very calm yet interrogating tone.

"I realized why you called me a cookie monster," I answered, still looking on the ground. Slowly being devoured by shame.

"No... I mean, why can't you look at me? Do I look that good for you?"

What the heck did I just hear?

I immediately lifted my head up and saw him looking at me like a midget. I faced him. Emotionless. And asked calmly, "What."

It was merely a confused statement. I did not really mean to ask him 'what' because I know he would just have much courage to brag at me. I was already about to walk out but he gripped at my wrist.

"Are you really asking for apology or what?" he was still asking like an android but his voice already sounded one pitch higher than what I heard last day. I exhaled forcibly and glared at him.

He handed me what he bought and went back to the counter. I felt a bit of rage on him. I was about to yell at him but he looked back and pointed his index finger to the closest table at my back.

I knew it. He wanted me to sit there. Ok, if that's what he wanted. Ugh!

He came back holding canned drinks in his right hand and a number of cookies in the other hand and placed them in front of me. I removed my eyes away from the temptation on the table. But my eyes were very tempted that they couldn't stop ogling at it.
